Please help! BEST deep conditioner/hair mask treatment?

Can anyone recommend a REALLY GOOD deep conditioner/hair mask treatment. Aside from getting a trim because I just got one, I'm having alot of split ends. There has to be a good product out there that helps make them less noticable. I use a regular conditioner every day and unfortunately have to blow dry my hair pretty much every day (I try to use the "cool" setting). Any suggestions will be appreciated :)

Please help! BEST deep conditioner/hair mask treatment?

theres this aussi hair mask thats really good in a white/cream packet for under a pound x

Please help! BEST deep conditioner/hair mask treatment?

If you still have a lot of split ends after just getting a trim, then you didn't have enough trimmed in the first place. You can find products that will make your hair look better but the split ends will continue to split up the hair shaft and break off making your hair look even worse. Go to www.hairproductstogo.com and look under the Framesi products. These products are great and you will find what you need.

I think Lush make the best hair treatments. Pop in and ask them what they recommend. They may also suggest you change your shampoo and conditioner to one of theirs and this might also be beneficial.

I use a combination of Marilyn pre-wash treatment, the Blonde shampoo and Jungle conditioner and my hair is extra soft, shiny and not too many split ends. My Mum has really processed, dry, thick hair and finds Retread to be a great all round product.

Best of all, no animal testing, the ingredients are natural and they smell amazing! The prices are a bit much for some people but I have like cleavage length hair and can get 5-odd treatments out of a pot of marilyn and the solid shampoos last forever!

i say to give ur hair a break with the blow dryer about ever other day if u really need to blow dry. but for deep conditioners i higly recommend gariner sleek and shine deep conditioner which works really good for me and i have afrian type hair. another type i would suggest by them is the new line that they just made but i never tried it yet its a mask called i think damaged and repair , all u have to do is go to ur local department store, walmart, walgreens and look for the bright green bottles

Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

I just had my first laser hair removal treatment, my next appointment isn't till the week of christmas. I was told to shave and NOT to wax/pluck. Can I bleach once before my next treatment..such as leave the cream on for 5 minutes then wash it off so that my dark facial hair will be less noticable and will reappear before my 2nd treatment. Should I do this, or not take a chance, I have black hair and have begun shaving above my upper lip but theres always this dark shadow in the area where I shaved. Any tips on how to cover this up with makeup or should I resort to bleaching? By the way I have olive skin.

Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

no!!!!

Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

ask a professional please. people here will tell you whatever they want. trust me. when its about you and your health consult a professional not bored people full of nonsense although you might be lucky enough to find someone smart in here. odds are 1/10000000000000000000000000000000000000...

Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

Shave; you can cover up stubble with make up if you feel the need. Shave carefully with a razor, not an electric and your lip will be smooth as a baby's bottom....or at least as smooth as it will be after your treatments are done...good luck!

Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

Yes,but not just yet, wait about 2 full weeks after your last laser removal. This will not hurt anything. The only reason why they tell you not to wax/pluck,is because they won't be able to get the "root" of the hairs if you do.

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involv

The more natural the treatment, the better. I don't want to have to do anything crazy like stand on my head, nor do I have lots of money to waste on fraudulent products. I'm looking at growing my own hair, so weaves and hair extensions aren't options. What has worked for you?

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

Skip the Nioxin pills but do get the shampoo and scalp therapy. It stimulates your scalp (it's makes your head cold causing the blood to rush there to warm it, in turn giving your hair follicles extra nurishment). You should see signifigant growth using these products. They are spendy though. Keeping your ends trimmed will NOT make your hair grow faster, but it will keep your hair from breaking off because the ends are bad. Obviously when your hair breaks off you counter-act any growing it's done.

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

hair vitamins you can get them at walmarts

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

Use hair oil it will keep your hair longer and stronger...just like mine ..

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

the only proven method to growing your hair is to get regular trims (4-6 weeks) and time.

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

take hair pills (to grow)and folic acid pills (to make it healthy)

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

Time.

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

i dont know of any treatment to make your hair grow, i used to work in a hair salon, and always this question came up, all we could tell the clients, is to continue to get hair trims, in order for the hair to grow.

if you try several diffirent hair chemicals, you will damage the hair. just be patient and hair will grow... good luck!!!!

I want longer hair; anyone know of a proven hair growth treatment that works and doesn't involve pain?

oh my gosh people dont know what they are talking about ok cutting your hair on a regular basis will not keep your hair growing it will only keep the split ends off. putting hair oil on your hair will not do the trick, this will only coat the hair with serum and can even make it look greasy. However, im going to have to go with the hair pills but i would not go to walmart for them, NIOXIN has a system to use for this, if you go to any salon that sells it they will tell you, use the shampoo and conditioner and they have hair pills to go with it.

Biotin. It's found in foods. But it's better to take a biotin supplement. Look it up

What is the most effective treatment for thinning hair in women?

I am 48 years old, and have very thin hair on the top of scalp. I have tried a popular hair application Rogaine, and it seemed to have helped but only very very slightly. I would like to try something more effective.

What is the most effective treatment for thinning hair in women?

Women rarely lose their hair due to genetic predisposition. However hair loss in women is reaching new high levels. Thinning hair loss in women may be caused by many problems:

- Hormonal imbalance

- Hair loss related to pregnancy postmenopausal trauma

- Effects of medications including birth control pills

- Nervous conditions including tension and stress

- Medical treatments such as chemo therapy

- Harsh chemicals such as commercial shampoos, perms, hair color, and bleach

- Iron, vitamin and mineral imbalance

- Severely poor diet including dehydration

- Poor circulation can cut off the nutrients that blood flow delivers to the scalp

The average person loses about 100 strands per day (while the average hair grows only 1/2 inch per month). So the more days you live, the more hairs you lose. While you can't stop time or heredity, you can do something about the way your hair appears, even if it's thinning.

Commercial conditioners do a good job of making hair look fuller, as long as you don't overuse them. Don't use more than a teaspoonful each time you wash, that's just a dab in the palm of your hand. Anything more is wasted and can actually make your hair look worse.

Crack an egg over your hair before shampooing, and toss away the shell. Massage it in for five minutes and then rinse it out. Since egg is basically animal protein, it has the same effect as the specially formulated shampoos.

What is a good shampoo/treatment for dry hair?

I have to fight with this all the time, my hair seems really dry and I have tried lots of different shampoo's and conditioners, but I don't want something that will feel greasy, I just want my hair to not feel like hay.

What is a good shampoo/treatment for dry hair?

Go to www.aveda.com and in right hand corner in product search type in Brilliance. That line is amazing, especially the hair emollient. My hair is very fine in texture so I can only use a tiny drop but even w/ thick coarse hair like my sisters, you only use a pea sized drop and not on the roots, so it doesn't make hair flat. It creates amazing shine and enough moisture to stop static and fly aways even in very dry winters. My sisters hair looked like hay but that stuff was like a miracle. Her hair actually swings now. If you click on the actual products on that site, there are even tips on how to best use/combine their products for your hair type and what you want it to do. They also have many intensive conditioners you only use once a week and your regular conditioner the rest of the days. I have skipped using my Aveda products from time to time due to the cost. My hair always suffers. I have used strictly their products for just about a year now and my hair is amazingly healthy. Good products do make a difference. They are all natural plant, herb products that also smell NATURALLY good, not perfume like. None of them build up on your hair like other products do either. Also, no testing on animals. NO, I don't work for them but I probaly should. So many products are over priced IMO and do nothing they promise. I have NEVER been disappointed with an Aveda product, notr have my sisters and all four of us have very different hair types. Try it, you won't be sorry. They have free shipping on some orders for the next couple of days, so it is cheaper than what you would pay in a salon as you don't have to pay tax either.

Pantene- According to my stylist, the stuff builds up on your hair so badly, a "detox" shampoo must be applied to get the build up off before doing any coloring, highlights or even perms. You want something that will penetrate, not build up.

Natural homemade hair care tip for Dry Hair:

閳?Mix 1 tablespoon Honey and any type of vegetable oil. Distribute mixture evenly all over the hair.

29 years old guy. please provide me a home made black henna treatment for hair...?

Get it gone professsionally - the salons will use L'oreal for men, but lets be honest, I don't think women really go for that dyed hair look on men - you could just shave it all off.

29 years old guy. please provide me a home made black henna treatment for hair...?

Why? Are you getting gray hairs already? If you aren't allergic to it, get real hair dye. Henna smells nasty and it stains everything.

29 years old guy. please provide me a home made black henna treatment for hair...?

Black henna is dangerous! Don't go near it.

29 years old guy. please provide me a home made black henna treatment for hair...?

buy a good quality henna powder,u would get in departmental stores, buy an iron kadai, add henna powder and make a paste along with coffee water(boil water hot add 2 spoons of cofee r tea, take this water and filter it).leave it over night.next day apply it in hair

29 years old guy. please provide me a home made black henna treatment for hair...?

Know the compleate story of henna application.

--------------------------------------...

How henna is used on hair?(natural henna powder not colored henna dye. chemical added henna is not fully natural)

Dry hair - Add some milk, water and 1-2egg yolks in henna. This mixture will not dry your hair and will make it soft and manageable. Apply it monthly.

Normal to Oily Hair 閳?Add water, lemon, egg yolks in henna. You can apply Henna fortnightly.

Henna Paste.

Mix henna powder with water to get a thick paste. It should not be loose or too thick. Apply it into the scalp and hair using a brush. Apply oil to the scalp and hair before henna, is also good.

You can enhance the results of henna on hair by simple tricks.

If the smell of henna is not exactly to your liking, add 褰?teaspoon (about 1 g) allspice, cinnamon, or nutmeg to the paste.

Add 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vinegar or fresh lemon juice for golden or copper highlights. This treatment also is beneficial for oily hair.

An egg yolk or a whole egg will help condition and add shine to the hair. Use the yolk for dry hair, and the whole egg for oily hair.

Cloves deepen and enhance the color of henna. Grind 闄?tablespoon (3 g) dry whole cloves to powder and add to the henna paste.

What is most effective treatment for female hair loss?

I have had some hair loss. Ive had anesthetics, weight loss , stress and hormornal changes which have caused it...I am looking for effective methods to help treat the hair loss although it is an even loss, not in patches! anyone with experience...please help!!!

What is most effective treatment for female hair loss?

I agree with the first answer. Also my doctor told me to see a dermatologist because they are the specialists in that area.

What is most effective treatment for female hair loss?

Get a shampoo and conditioner that is called 'Nioxin'. It is professional only. You may have to get your hair stylist to buy it for you. But if it doesn't help your hair replenish it's cells; it at the very least stops more hair from falling out. Very helpful. I have my license and also my Mother has Lupus. It works for her. Hope that helps. :)

Can you do hot oil treatment on ur hair by puttin olive oil on ur hair and going in the steam room?o

do i hot oil treat my hair by applying ilove oil on my hair and going in the steam room (like a sauna but moist) or in a sauna? I need answers in like at the max time of of 15-20 minutes pls answer

Can you do hot oil treatment on ur hair by puttin olive oil on ur hair and going in the steam room?or sauna?

You should do it like this:

1. put the oil in a cup.

2. fill a BIGGER cup halfway fill with boiling water.

3. float the small cup in the bigger cup. DON'T let the oil spill.

4. Let it heat up for a minute or two

5. spread the hot oil in your hair

6. wrap your hair up with saran wrap

7. leave in for at least 10 minutes (go wherever)

8. rinse out, then use shampoo.

Can you do hot oil treatment on ur hair by puttin olive oil on ur hair and going in the steam room?or sauna?

Yes, and it's very effective.

Can you do hot oil treatment on ur hair by puttin olive oil on ur hair and going in the steam room?or sauna?

Ooohh! that sound like a good idea! I've heard though, if you put olive oil in the microwave for like a few seconds (if it's too long, it'll get really hot and burn your hair!!) and then take it out and let it set on your hair that works as a good hot oil treatment. I don't know about a sauna...but it sounds good too. It just may not get the oil in your hair hot enough

Can you do hot oil treatment on ur hair by puttin olive oil on ur hair and going in the steam room?or sauna?

I have a friend - he was professional hair sylist and that is what he told me to use on my hair. He said not to put it on the root area but rather where it starts to need some help and put more on the ends. You can heat it up if you like (like putting on one of those hair caps designed to take heat and then putting a blow dryer on it) or you can just let it sit on your hair for a while and then just go wash it like you normally would. It works pretty well but there are so many products out there now that are designed for specific types of hair that, unless you need to watch expenses, would probably be a better option since it can be tailored to your hair type.

To heat it up I would put it in a coffee cup and nuke it. Check to make sure it's not too hot!

What is the best repair treatment for damaged hair?

i know there isnt much i can do, damaged is damaged, but any tips on how to get my hair healthy again and grow in healthy? I know hair grows about half an inch a month if you are lucky, anyone use any supplements/vitamins/foods for hair regrowth?

What is the best repair treatment for damaged hair?

Once hair has been damaged, it can't be repaired. But you can start using a leave-in that makes hair feel less pourous and feel healthy. The best one for damaged hair is Instacure by Matrix Essentials. The only thing you can do is wait to have the damaged part trimmed off if you want your hair healthy again. If you begin using the Instacure, you will feel a big difference in the softness and the elasticity of your hair. My suggestion to keep the new growth healthy, is to use products low in alcohol (so don't use drugstore products), use semi-permanent dyes, and buy ceramic hair tools (such as the CHI straightener).

What is the best repair treatment for damaged hair?

a deep conditionar will do wonders for your hair. but if you want to go the extra mile, mayo will work even better. i used once when i damaged my hair from soo much dyeing, then it made it feel healthy and silky soft and smooth again. seriously, this stuff works.

does anybody no like some good recipes for at home, like in ur kitchen stuff to make your hair stronger and thicker? cuz my hair seems to be kinda thinning, like just a little and so yeah. thanksss

At home (kitchen stuff) treatment for your hair?

Canola oil (unflavored and unscented) really helps your hair, if you use it in the shower before shampooing.

If you wash your hair with a raw egg before shampooing it makes your hair a lot stronger and shinier, without being heavy and greasy.

good luck =)

Just make sure to keep your scalp clean. That is foundation! When you don't shampoo every day, put too much styling gel etc might cause clogged pore. Ideally, wash your hair at night , don't go to bed with wet hair. hair is much weeker when its wet.

Of course massage scap once in a while helps, too!

Best treatment for damage hair?

my hair is breaking and not as thick and full.....any advice. Products you recommend??

Best treatment for damage hair?

Hey from your pic it seems like you have ethnic curly hair, well so do I..

what I do is when my hair is damaged- I simply leave it alone. I straighten my hair ALL the time so sometimes my hair needs a breather. I just wash it, condition it, make sure its moisturized properly (through leave in conditioners) and make sure your scalp is never flaky and dry (hot oil treatments before washing your hair works great)

After this, I let it air dry and simply tie it back or use a headband to keep it out of my face. I did this once for 2-3 months without putting any stress or heat on it and before I knew it my hair was shiny, strong and healthy again.

But since I love my hair straight, I alternate now. I will straighten it then go a week or two natural, and continue the cycle.

Products- Sallys is my hair haven, I love products by proclaim and motions. Motions has great oil moisturizers. I also use Garnier fructis products b/c I have curly hair and they have great leave in's for curly hair to prevent frizz. vo5 hot oil treatment is good too. Good Luck!

Best treatment for damage hair?

Here's what my mom did when her hair got really thin. You buy a deep conditioning treatment, any kind will do,(Biolage fortetherapie is good, but if you want something cheaper, Queen Helene's cholesterol is also good)put it in your hair, and go sit in a sauna for about 15 minutes. If a sauna is not close by, you can heat up a little bit of olive oil, put it in your hair, wrap your hair in ceramwrap, and put a hot towel around your head. Shampoo your hair twice, don't condition, and let your hair air dry. Also, some products that I highly recommend are the Biolage fortetherapie line, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration line, and Aveda. One more tip: If you must blow dry your hair, do it on the dryer's cool setting, it's much less damaging.

Best treatment for damage hair?

Shave your head and let your hair grow again. You will have to only go underground for a month or so, or cover your head with a balaclava for that period.

Best treatment for damage hair?

Try mouisterizers with protien and chloresteral and takeing vitamin E supplements the person that does my hair recommended it and it works

Best treatment for damage hair?

I Think I am the correct person to answer this question.Because I have too long hair. You simply do what I am saying.Use one shampoo regularly don't change the brand frequently.Rinse your hair with more water after applying shampoo.Rinse your hair twice in a week.Next day apply coconut oil.Comb your hair softly.Try this you will see better development.......

Best treatment for damage hair?

1)Hair Conditioner

Mix half a cup of honey with two tablespoons olive oil. If your hair is very dry, add a third tablespoon. Section off your hair and coat it well with the mixture. Cover your hair with a shower cap so you don't mess up the entire house. In addition, the shower cap traps heat from your scalp, enabling the oils to penetrate further. Wash off after half an hour.

2)Hair Shine

Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups warm water. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as usual. Your hair will shine.

3)Hair Care

For hair that shines, add the juice of a lemon to one cup water. Pour it over your hair after shampooing as a final rinse. Do not rinse off.?

Squeeze lemon juice in your hair while rinsing off the shampoo. This removes shampoo residue from your hair and smells great!?

Troubled by hair loss? Try this: Mix the juice of one lemon with 4 tbsp coconut milk. Massage it into your scalp and wash off after half an hour. Do this at least once a week to arrest hairfall

Laser treatment for facial hair, especially on the upper lip, does it really work?

Hi, I actually read this really good article about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

Laser treatment for facial hair, especially on the upper lip, does it really work?

Yap...

Laser treatment for facial hair, especially on the upper lip, does it really work?

You will need several treatments, they get every stage of the hair growth process. The hair needs to be dark, light hair doesn't laser. I worked in a Salon, we had a Nurse who did it. Ideally, the best candidate for it it is light skin and dark hair. I would go for a consult and they will explain it all to you and tell you if it worth it for you.

Laser treatment for facial hair, especially on the upper lip, does it really work?

Hi,

Yes, laser treatments do work well. I have not personally had it however, I worked with a mildly developmentally disabled woman that had a full beard. At some point in her life she had been told to shave after getting a few hairs on her chin. After researching laser hair removal as she was very embarrassed, I took her. I swear there was a noticeable difference after the first treatment. I asked her if it hurt, wondering if I was torturing her and she said it did not really. She compared it to a pinch. To my amazement after six treatments she only gets random hairs. A HUGE difference to the hundreds she had before.

I would think that if you have just your lip that is an issue, it would only require a few visits, if that. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Best deep conditioning treatment for bleached, dyed, dry hair?

Does anybody know of any deep conditioning treatments out there for constant bleached, straightened, blow-dried, dyed hair? It's beyond damaged and due to the frequent need of color upkeep (it's pink) there is nothing I can do about cutting out dying/bleaching. Believe me, I space it out as much as possible.

Thank you!

Yeah, it sounds like time for a salon appointment. I never understood why girls dyed their hair so much until I got into the craze myself. Three boxes of hair dye later, and my hair was horrible! My hairstylist told me to use a color shampoo and conditioner that seems to be working well. You might want to lay off the shampoo for a while and just rinse/condition. I also know olive oil and raw egg works well to deep-condition (gross, but true).

Best deep conditioning treatment for bleached, dyed, dry hair?

Just heard about hair salon now offering a deep conditioning treatment in the $200-300 range. Sorry, can't remember the name. Something about this product being used by NASA in the space shuttles...CRAAAZZZY! But apparently gives you immediate results.

Oh yeah, there is supposed to be a DIY kit you can buy for around $70.

Brazilian keratin treatment for ethnic hair!?

There should be nothing wrong with it just make sure you use the formaldehyde free version. Formaldehyde is a dangerous chemical that has been said to be carcinogen. BKT doesn't straighten nor curl hair it just allows it to be straighten really nicely, your hair will look healthy and silken but you have to either blow dry it straight or flatiron. Good luck.

Finasteride is proven to halt and in some cases regrow some hair. I have used Propecia for several years with good success but for some, the effectiveness lessens after several years of treatment. I use Avodart now.

What can be a substitute for a hot oil treatment for hair.?

If you are wanting to get a real good at-home deep conditioning treatment, do this:

At walmart, in the black hair-care section, there is this deep conditioning treatment that's orange, it's got like carrot oil and some other stuff in it, it's kind of stinky and I can't remember what it's called, I just grab it.

Put a damp bath towel in the oven for about 5 or 10 minutes with the oven on 250 degrees.... you will need this later.

wash your hair normally and rinse it with water as hot as you can handle it, this opens up your hair folicles. Put the conditioner in your hair pretty thick, not so thick that it's glopping off, but enough that you can tell it's in there.

After you do that, take some saran wrap (yes, saran wrap, plastic wrap) and wrap it around your HAIR only! Not your face, not your nose, not your mouth or eyes, not your ears, just your hair.

Now, CAREFULLY take that towel out of the oven, wrap that around your head, too (read precautions in previous paragraph). It will be kind of warm. Leave that on your head for like fifteen minutes.

Take the towel off, take the saran wrap off, now, rinse your hair with cool water... as cold as you can handle it. It shocks the hair and closes the folicles, and you lose less of the conditioning treatment.

Towel dry your hair and use a vented brush to brush through it. Use something light like Pink Oil Light and put it through your hair as normal. Don't blow dry your hair, that just basically destroys what you've just done. Let it air dry. Then, if you've got to curl or flat iron it, you're good.

Good luck!

What can be a substitute for a hot oil treatment for hair.?

Tresseme Moisurizing Conditioner. Towel dry hair and apply a lot of this on the whole head. Wrap your hair in plastic wrap and then apply a damp heated towel(don't burn your head). Keep the towel on until it cools off and then rinse your hair. Keep doing this weekly if your hair just needs to be deep conditioned, every two days if its severely damaged.

What can be a substitute for a hot oil treatment for hair.?

Go to the ethnic aisle of the grocery store and but a small bottle of sesame oil. Take about a third of a teaspoon and put it in your hand, rub your hands together to warm the oil and work it through your hair, use a half tsp if you have longer tham shoulder length hair.

Just keep running your hands through your hair and scrunching it. You will see as you keep working it, you will spread the oil evenly and just let it stand for about fifteen minutes.

You can warm your hair with a blow dryer and let it cool then shampoo your hair as usual.

Some people use mayo, but they hate the results because they use too much and nobody wants to go out smelling like a salad.

Just try the sesame oil treatment, it has no ammonia, no perfumes, no chemicals. It works on damaged hair and I hope you like it

What can be a substitute for a hot oil treatment for hair.?

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .

This question is for ayurvedic doctors. what is the treatment for hair falling disease indraluptha?

Falling out of the hair is a frequent sequel of acute diseases, especially fevers. But then the loss is only temporary, and it grows again when convalescence is complete. Early loss of hair is often constitutional and hereditary, and sometimes it is due to affection of the hair bulbs by disease. Ringworm rarely attacks the scalp of adults, though it does occur on the face and body. There is, however, a disease in which the hair falls out in spots (Alopecia areata), Usually the hair grows again as vigorously as before. Other major known causes are ph imbalanced shampoo and detergents, poor scalp hygiene, stress is major psychological factor, Hormonal imbalance, Hard Water and allergies.

General Treatment which was used before 100 year.- With most people the scalp secretes oily matter enough to keep the hair glossy and soft, and in this case there is no need for hair-grease of any kind. The head should be washed with soap once every two or three weeks, and oftener if the secretion of the sebaceous glands is very profuse. But too frequent washing impoverishes the hair. When the hair falls off rapidly, and is not replaced, the following hair-wash will be found of great use. Take of

Oil of almonds one ounce;

Olive oil one ounce;

Strong liquor ammoniae one drachm;

Tincture of cantharides half drachm;

Essence of bergamotte ten drops;

Spirit of wine two ounces;

Distilled water to six ounces;

A little of the wash to be rubbed into the hair roots every night.

how to make hair soft and slky after washing it??? my hair gets really dry!!! i heard that olive oil helps...

Any natural treatment for dry hair intead of hair relaxers..(read on)?

Go to a salon once every month and ask for a deep conditioning treatment. I swear the condition of your hair will change drastically. And u should try investing in a good shampoo and conditioner. Anything that doesn't contain sulfate, which is very drying to the hair. Make sure u use some leave-in conditioner after washing ur hair. And u should also check the quality of ur water. It's difficult to have soft shiny hair if u are washing it in hard water. And don't forget to trim ur hair every 6 weeks.

Something else that may work for you is taking Omega-3 Supplements or eating foods with Omega-3 fatty acids. I have heard of this working for a few people. Flax Meal is a great source, of course fish especially Salmon, make sure you get wild caught. It might help you, its worth a try, your body needs that anyway.

Try the new Dove line of hair care Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry hair. It is AMAZING and doesnt end up making it greasy. My hair had the same prob cause I use my straightner every day but that Dove stuff makes my hair so soft that I cant keep my hands off of it. Also, when you put the conditioner on, leave it on for at least three minutes then rinse with warm water.

OK, Mayo helps allot and makes your hair sooo shiny but it stinks. What I use is yogurt ( plain). Just put it on the ends of your hair for 10 min and rinse. Also there id milk and honey, but you got to be sure to mix it very well. On damp hair lather in milk and honey like you would shampoo. Rinse well and your hair will be soft and shiny and smell good enough to eat! lol. Also to prevent further damage try to wait until your hair is at least half dry before you blow dry. Take care and I hope you find this useful!

I have used coconut oil for awhile on my hair and it has worked really well for me. I coat dry hair at night with the oil and sleep with it in. (I either place a towel over my pillow or wear a shower cap.) Then in the morning I just shampoo/condition my hair in the shower as normal. It really helps my dry hair to feel silky and hydrated. I suppose olive oil would work as well, but I prefer the smell of the coconut. Hope that helps!

How long does a Hair Cellophane Treatment takes?

I decided to have a Hair Cellophane Treatment yesterday. The result was good after but now, I'm not satisfied anymore. My hair is still dry. The gay beautician only allowed the treatment to stay in my hair for almost 15minutes. It cost me P400.00 (approximately $7). Do i have the right to come back and complain about the result of the treatment?

How long does a Hair Cellophane Treatment takes?

Unfortunately when you get a cellophane it stiffens your hair. Just let it wear off and it will. There isn't anything you can do that isn't going to damage your hair even more that will help make your hair feel better. I sure hope it's shiny though cause that's the purpose for those and a type of soft highlight. I think 15 minutes is typical for cellophane's. You can complain, but $7 is hardly worth your stress of complaining is it? You would spend that in gas alone! lol!

preventing hair loss / regaining lost hair.

What is the best treatment for preventing hair loss/regaining lost hair? Any experience with laser treatment??

I'm researching this myself so I thought that my experiences might be useful. If its diagnosed as male pattern baldness, then its hereditory and you wont get it back. Most products are rubbish. If you are going to use anything 'Regaine' is your best bet . You might be able to prevent further loss though.

If you want a cosmetic improver, I have heard that meshing is very effective and realistic. An extermely fine/invisible mesh is glued or otherwise attached to your scalp and hair is woven into it. It great for creating a natural hairline, which you will never get from a wig or hairpiece. Its custom designed for your individual needs, and can potentially last from 3 months to a year if your are careful with it. Probably very expensive, though, Im looking into that now...hold this space..

What is the best treatment for preventing hair loss/regaining lost hair? Any experience with laser treatment??

When someone discovers the answer to this, they will become millionaires overnight.

What is the best treatment for preventing hair loss/regaining lost hair? Any experience with laser treatment??

What is the best treatment for preventing hair loss/regaining lost hair? Any experience with laser treatment??

I don't know much about hair loss (touch wood) but I do know that REVLON PROFESSIONAL recently invented a patch against hair loss. It is said to be revolutionnary. It isn't a scam because Revlon (the American giant) puts their name on it. Also, I believe that hair loss and grey hair can be due to an iron deficiency as well as a Vitamin B deficiency.

Hair loss during treatment

Many people assume that chemotherapy always causes hair loss but this isn't true. Some drugs cause none at all. However, certain drugs do cause partial or complete alopecia, which means all body hair is temporarily lost. If the drugs included in your treatment plan will result in you losing hair, the doctors and nurses treating you will explain this to you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask them.

Hair loss may start within a couple of days of beginning treatment or may not occur for some weeks. You'll probably notice more hair on your brush, in the basin or shower after washing your hair or on your bed linen. Some people notice that their scalp becomes quite tender just before their hair comes out.

Body hair may also be lost, that is underarm and pubic hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. Your eyes may water more easily and be more sensitive to the sun. Wearing sunglasses will help to protect your eyes.

Scalp cooling

Scalp cooling is a method of preventing hair loss but it can only be used with certain drugs. Research has shown that scalp cooling can prevent hair loss with three drugs - doxorubicin, epirubicin and taxol. Even then success depends on the dose of drug and whether other drugs are given at the same time.

The procedure uses a cold cap to lower the temperature of the top of your head. The cold narrows the blood vessels and prevents the drug passing into the cells at your hair root and damaging them.

Your doctor will tell you if scalp cooling can be used with your chemotherapy. You can then decide whether or not to try it. A doctor or nurse will explain the procedure before you begin treatment.

Hair loss and radiotherapy

Radiotherapy causes hair loss in a different way to chemotherapy and only affects the specific area being treated. For example, if radiotherapy is given to the breast or chest, only chest and underarm hair will be lost; if your head is being treated, only head hair will come out.

Although hair loss is usually temporary, for a few people it can be permanent. It depends on the dose of radiotherapy and the length of treatment you receive. If your hair loss is likely to be permanent, this will be explained to you before treatment begins.

During treatment the skin may become red and sore and it閳ユ獨 important not to irritate it. The staff at your radiotherapy department will give you advice about how to care for your skin in the treatment area at the beginning of your course of radiotherapy. If you feel unsure of what to do or which products to use, do not hesitate to ask the staff looking after you.

Will my hair regrow?

Your hair will usually grow back when treatment is finished. The time regrowth will take depends on your treatment. Your doctor or nurse will be able to advise you on how long it will take.

Your scalp may itch more than usual while your hair is regrowing, so wash it often with a mild moisturising shampoo. Your hair may grow back slightly differently, for example a different shade or colour, curlier than before or very straight.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I'm looking at getting my bikini area completely rid of hair. My boyfriend's offered to pay for me to have the hair lasered off - anyone know of the pros and cons of this procedure? Prices, side-effects, effectiveness etc?

xx

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Well I know someone that got laser surgery to remove hair and it takes more than one treatment and she said it hurt really bad. Also, whereever you get the laser surgery at is really sensitive to sun so I know it should stay kind of hidden from the sun but if you went to a tanning bed or something that would be bad.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I think it's a good idea.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I was thinking about doing this but there's something about the whole thing being so permanent I decided against it. Sorry, I don't know what the cost is. I thought that it would beat having to deal with hair stubs and the itch and redness they cause. However, I don't know that I'd let anyone pay for this procedure. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't let a boyfriend pay for it. I mean what if you marry someone else, he'll be the one that can say, I paid for that little job! Maybe I'm being silly about this but that's how I'd feel. Now if your husband was to pay for it then that's different.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

its a good idea but beware it butches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

you are soooo lucky to have your boyfriend's offered to pay for you, the price is different - some is AUD$300, some AUD$4oo, some aud$500, no effective

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I like the way that you call it a "bikini zone"

If you mean getting rid of pubic hair, use your boyfreinds' shaver, with the hacking attachmet turned on.

Less vicious than some expensive laser treatment, and anyway, we all have hair in that area, so why worry about it ?

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Being in the beauty profession and carrying out electrolysis I have found too many cases of hair growing back after 3 or 4 sessions of laser treatment. I have personally never had laser, but I am told by my clients the pain is horrendous, although everyone has a different pain threshold. At the end of the day it's your choice. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Laser hair removal is 閳ユ笡ermanent閳?hair removal method but is expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Have a hollywood wax instead. After the first couple of sessions the pain is not too bad. You probably need t have it re-done every 4-6 weeks but it is not too bad. Make sure you have a couple of pain killers 2 hrs before the first session as it just takes the edgae off the discomfort

Has anybody used the LightSheer Diode Laser treatment for hair removal permanently?

I haven't but I have used an Alexandrite and I am familiear with the LightSheer....the two pieces of equipment use a very similar light frequency. The LightSheer is considered a good piece of equipment, especially for dark hair and light skin as long as the practioner knows what they are doing. Does anyone know side effects of Laser treatment for hair removal?

well...there is supposed to be small chance of any side effects...but i have heard of stories where it did scar people...but they were all dark skinned people...cos the lazer attracts to darkness...so there is more of a chance for it not to work...OR scar on darker skinned people...but if you go to a good place and do your research you should be good...after you get it done your skin is red for a few hours...then thats it.

Does anyone know side effects of Laser treatment for hair removal?

i have had no side effects. Here is a link to an informative article about a womans laser hair removal experience, I think you will find this useful in answering your question. ENJOY!

I used the pure olive oil treatment in my hair twice and my hair is still dry. How long does it take

results? My hair is growing fast. On Wednesday's I use the warm pure olive oil in my hair, I leave it in for a hour with a plastic cap. I wash my hair with Creme of Nature moisturizing shampoo and I use Optimum deep conditioner for dry and damaged hair. I then use foaming wrap lotion in my hair and I pull my hair back into a ponytail while my hair dries natural. I leave my hair pulled back. Sometimes I will spray mane and tale leavin conditioner in my hair and keep my hair in a ponytail. I also take hair, nails and skin vitamins. My b/f hates my hair... he always tell me it looks dry. Please help, what is it I am doing wrong.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

I used the pure olive oil treatment in my hair twice and my hair is still dry. How long does it take to see?

Some people have said if their hair is damged or has split ends it does not take the oil good or show results. What condition is your hair in? You may consider getiing a series of micro trims (NO more than 1/4 of an inch each time) over however long you choose.

I used the pure olive oil treatment in my hair twice and my hair is still dry. How long does it take to see?

i am sorry but ur boyfriend annoys me..who is he to tell you that ur hair looks dry and he hates it? Anyway girl let me tell you...all that probally need is a good gloss or a sheen spray to bring back the natural shine...also flat hair reflects light as do curls...so you can try using a flat iron to bring some shine back to ur hair..based upon ur regime i can't suggest anything else to help ur hair other than a protein treatment once a month with the henna placenta pack found in all drugstores and its really cheap that helps to strengthen hair....

I used the pure olive oil treatment in my hair twice and my hair is still dry. How long does it take to see?

Perhaps you have the type of hair that does not respond to oil. Or you could be believing your boyfriend who may have no idea what he is talking about.

The wrap lotion may be the culprit as well. Some foaming wrap lotions have alcohol in it which is very drying on the hair. I suggest you read the ingredients in you setting lotion. If you see SD-40 Alcohol....run for hills. If that the lotion is the problem, try looking for a setting lotion that does not contain alcohol. Or you can try IC spark lites gel. It's clear, it contains no alcohol and it will leave your pony tail smooth. I hope that helps.

What is the best deep conditioning treatment for hair?

That all depends...

Treatments are broken into 2 different types: Protein and Moisture.

Protein is good for people who chemically process the hair and have weak, damaged areas.

Moisture is good for people who use alot of heat on the hair, and just have a dryer texture normally.

Unfortunetly, alot of people fall into both catagories and not alot of lines make treatments that combine both protein and moisture.

What hair treatment or products can I use to smoothen the texture of dry coarse hair which has split ends?

the stuff that has the kangaroo on the commercial, I cant remember what it is called.. it is in a purple bottle with a pump on the top, get the moisturizing kind. It is great for dry hair and split ends.

What hair treatment or products can I use to smoothen the texture of dry coarse hair which has split ends?

i love using Avon's dry end serum. i squirt about 5-6 drops in my hand, rub my hands together and start with the ends and then smooth my hands over the rest of my hair, it makes split ends less noticeable and makes my hair very shiny and soft.

What hair treatment or products can I use to smoothen the texture of dry coarse hair which has split ends?

Some tips:

Deep condition once a week with a heavy conditioner (add some olive oil and an egg if you can).

Wash your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo, then add extra oil (jojoba, olive, castor, almond - but NOT baby oil) to the ends of your hair. Dry split ends need to be moisturized with a waterbased product (like a moisturizing conditioner) then sealed with oil to keep the moisture in.

If you must use shampoo, do it less often and choose a moisturizing shampoo (not a harsh one, and not a "clarifying" one).

Don't mishandle your hair when combing to avoid more split ends. Be gentle. Use a detangling comb (it's teeth are curved) and start at the bottom then work your way up to the top. Never yank or pull the tangles from your hair. Soak your hair in conditioner and water before combing to make the comb glide more.

Trim your ends. Split ends tangle themselves and create more of a messy hassle.

Use a creamy leave-in conditioner after washing your hair.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

a haircut.

followed by reducing the amount you dye, treat, and style your hair. these are all factors that can cause split ends.

once the hair is split you cannot 'glue' it back up, permanently anyway. you can mask the effect of spit ends with any number of the 'remedies' posted here (ie. masks, treatments, smoothing serums etc. etc.), but once the damage is done, the damage is done.

get onto a good hair care routine before your hair has the chance to split. well, split too soon anyway. hair is dead and it will all split eventually, but you can certainly prolong the process...

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

pantene

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

A haircut because nothing else can get rid of splits.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

Take it or leave it....a raw egg and let it sit...rinse with a beer and shampoo as normal. Ask parents for permission b/4 you do this ( the beer thing). Getting your hair cut also every 6 weeks and let it dry naturally.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

Pantene's what I use, it really makes for healthy hair - I've got permed hair, and I know you hear that perms dry it out, but mine is totally soft and hydrated.

About split ends - hairstylists suggest trimming ends off every 4-6 weeks (not ever by yourself, though!)... whenever your ends get bad, you've got to have them trimmed off. You can prevent split ends, but you can't repair them. I suggest Pantene for prevention, and regular trims to get rid of split ends.

You can also prevent them by, if you straighten/curl/etc your hair with anything heated, use a styling serum on your hair first. It prevents burning the hair and breaking the strands, which can cause split ends.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

a hair cut is the only real way.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

Trim it every 6 weeks. Keep your ends moisturized and seal with vitamin E oil (you can get it in a hair supply store or cvs or something). If your hair is at your shoulder try to keep it up until it grows past your shoulders (if you are trying to grow it) so the ends don't brush against your clothes too much.

What is the best split end treatment for hair?

A good triming of those ends my dear! If you don't cut 'em...they're just gonna keep going and going! If you do choose to cut 'em then you'll be able to stop the split before your hair becomes too weak and starts to break! And THAT...you sure DON'T want cuz then you may have to cut it reeeeeeeal short!

After you have washed your hair, put the conditioner on your hair...soak your hair in it...leave the conditioner on your hair for 3 min. then rinse out!

Do not use Pantene, Thermasilk...they are very bad for your hair...ask the cosmotologists...they will confirm my statement!

Can someone recommend a good oil treatment for hair growth?

Pure Rosemary EO (essential oil) mixed with either Castor, Jojoba, or Sweet Almond Oil. You can also try Biotin mixed with these oils. Castor, Jojoba, and Almond oils are called "carrier oils" and help to stretch the EO and make it less stringent on the hair while providing a good coating.

Oil doesn't make the hair grow, but it provides the ideal environment within your scalp for your hair to grow through. Oil helps to condition the scalp and keep it soft, supple, and ph balanced.

Becareful! Oil should only be used with regular washing and conditioning as too much oil could dry your hair out or make it slick.

Can someone recommend a good oil treatment for hair growth?

Whoever told you that oil makes your hair grow has hair on their brain cells. It doesn't do anything other than make your head greasy.

Has anyone tried Pantene Pro-V Intensive Hair treatment?

Yes, and it works pretty good. Even better if you let your hair dry naturally after using it. If you do use a hair dryer, set it on medium heat and stop before your hair is completely dry. That seems to help me.

Has anyone tried Pantene Pro-V Intensive Hair treatment?

You should try Pro-Vitamin hair treatment capsules. They used to be available in the stores, but I know you can get them online at vogueintl.com.

What is the best treatment for dry, brittle, prone to breakage hair?

i had a hair straightening.,but after how many days my hair started to become dull, brittle, dry and weak.,

i don't want to have anymore treatment to salon or spa

i just want a treatment that can be done at home.,.

well it would be very helpful if i can use things from the kitchen.,

What is the best treatment for dry, brittle, prone to breakage hair?

If your wanting a home remedy try mayo it has oil in it and is supposed to moisturize your hair just rinse completly add some good smelling leave in condt to cover the mayo smll. 4 a at home pro products solution, try biolage, joico or another brand hair mask or deep condt treatment use 2-3 times per week u will shampoo apply deep condt wrap hair up for 5-10 min remove towel and rinse. I wouldn't hurt that on the days u don't do the deep cont treatment use a leave in condt again biolage has a good one. Also look at the ingredients try to get a product without alcohol in it if it does have it make sure it is the 10th or more ingreident in the products.as with food the first couple of ingredients listed means that product has the most of that ingredient in it. Alcohol will dry your hair out and try to let it air dry the more chemicals and heat to apply to your hair the more damage may occur

What is the best treatment for dry, brittle, prone to breakage hair?

try schwartzcopft hair repair products.

available in most stores, they work WONDERS.

good luck

What is the best treatment for dry, brittle, prone to breakage hair?

Use a protein treatment once a week. Dumb Blonde by TIGI Bed Head is a really good one that I use and invest in a good quality shampoo and conditioner specifically for dry hair.

Also, when you use your hair straightener or heat products, use a thermal spray to protect it from the heat. Trust me, I didn't use to and my hair was so dead I had to chop it all off over time.

And DON'T use olive oil either, especially if you straighten your hair because this will make it even more dry.

Hope this helps!

Can colouring or any chemical treatment in hair can cause miscarriage in d fst trimister?

No it can't hurt you or the baby, but sometimes when your pregnant coloring your hair doesn't turn out right, b/c your hormones are all messed up.

Can colouring or any chemical treatment in hair can cause miscarriage in d fst trimister?

NO

Old wives tale!

I colored my hair monthly while "high risk" pregnant.

The only thing that really really got me, was the smell !

Your nose is hypersensitive and chemical smell, made me barffy at times.

Can colouring or any chemical treatment in hair can cause miscarriage in d fst trimister?

I dont know about miscarriage but it is not recommended that you do it...it's not an old wives tale at all...hair dye is full of bad chemicals.

Can colouring or any chemical treatment in hair can cause miscarriage in d fst trimister?

It depends, there have been women who their babies were affected when they coloured their hair. But others no that had no effect on it. However, that is not a reason for a woman to have a miss carraige. But the hair colour that they wanted may not turn out the colour they wanted it to.

Can colouring or any chemical treatment in hair can cause miscarriage in d fst trimister?

There are quite a few selections on the topic if you do a Google/Yahoo search for "dyeing hair while pregnant+miscarriage" and then take the information you've gleemed from there to your doctor and ask him/her.

Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Can garlic be used as treatment for hair loss?

I don't think so. I have home remedy for hair loss. Try this

Make a habit: Massage the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes after bathing it with water. This stimulates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair follicles in the scalp.

Massage into the scalp and hair coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel. Leave it for 闄?hour, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week.

Massage into the scalp and hair honey with egg yolk. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse.

Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day, daily. This will stop further hair loss.

Rinse hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow

Scrub the bald portion with onions till it becomes red. Then applying honey.

Make a shampoo by mixing 100 g each of amla (Indian goose berry), reetha, and shikakai and boil in two liters of water until the liquid reduces to half. Use this shampoo for your hair for at least one month. Your hair will become thick.

Mix equal amount of warm castor and almond oil and massage over scalp at least once a week.

Make a hair pack by mixing amla (Indian goose berry) powder with one egg. Apply it to your hair and leave for half an hour. Wash hair.

Grind lime seeds and black pepper in equal number in some water and apply on the scalp regularly.

Place raw mango pulp in some oil for a year. Massage this oil on the scalp frequently.

Apply a paste of hot olive oil, honey, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder before bath and keep for 15 minutes.

Apply a mixture of Aloe Vera with herbal powder triphala to the hair for a period of three to six months. It will result in growth of new hair.

Apply juice of coriander leaves on the head.

Mix soaked fenugreek seeds (Dana methi), shikakai powder, reetha powder, amla powder, dried lemon or lime peels, and two eggs, and grind to make a paste. Massage this paste onto hair and scalp and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo. This is good for making hair thick.

Boil 1 cup mustard oil with 4 tablespoon henna (mehandi) leaves. Filter and bottle. Massage on the scalp regularly.

Make a paste by mixing olive oil, honey and cinnamon (dal chini) powder. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo. Repeat it for 3-4 times a week.

Make a paste by grinding fenugreek seeds with water. Massage on the scalp after oiling the hair and leave it for one hour before washing. Repeat it every morning for a month.

Make a paste by mixing two eggs, two tablespoons each of amla, reetha and shikakai powder. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo. Repeat it for 3-4 times a week.

Drink 1 teaspoon cider vinegar mixed in 1 glass of water with meals for 2-3 weeks.

Drink a smoothie of banana, honey, yogurt, and skim milk.

Drink daily a juice of alfalfa + fresh spinach or fresh coriander. Your hair will grow fast.

To remove copper deficiency, drink juice of carrot, lettuce, capcicum and fresh alfalfa. This is good remedy for gray hair and hair loss.

Apply a paste of seeds of lemon and black pepper on the bald patch

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it co

Dunno if its really hair loss. But my mom says that I the density of hair was always less. These days is this a common problem or something??Is it necessary for me to go in for a hair treatment??

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

well, i was havin the same problem...

so ppl gave some advices.

NOT acconditioner.

NOT hot water.

DON'T wash your hair everyday .. do it one day and the other NOT .. that will help.

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

Dont know if it is all that common but I know that my brother was completely bald at 24, luckily they say the baldness comes from your mothers side of the family. and we have different mothers. If you are concerned about how losing your hair will make you look you may consider a hair treatment. If you dont really care then dont wory about it. Its all in if you want hair or not.

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

I am not sure if you are male or female but I am losing tons of hair (I am a woman). I have always had very thick hair. I am now feeling my hair loss is hormonal but I am not positive. I say, if you are really all that concerned about the hair lose and going bald, by all means, go for the treatment. You have to decide if you would be alright with yourself if you went bald. If that answer is no, make an appointment with a doctor that does the hair restorations and let them be the judge.

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

You may want to see your family doctor in case you have a condition that you can treat. They can prescribe medication for you to get the growing going. It could be stress, genetic or a lot of things. Best of luck to you!!

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

Well first of all, there are so many reasons why your hair could be falling out. Are you stressed out about something? Stress is a very big thing that can cause hair loss! Another reason could be medications. Certain medications can cause hair loss. Try getting a cut that creates volume, like a Layered haircut, with lots of layers! That will definately create the illusion of volume. I am a cosmetology student and my hair falls out like crazy, but mine is definately from stress. I would suggest that if it doesn't stop or it continues to get worse than go to a doctor and tell them the problem, because it may be another medical condtion that can't be treated at a salon. Good luck with it!

At 19yrs I have hair loss problems.Should I move in for a hair treatment to prevent this or is it common??

Yes, This is not common and you should go for hair loss treatment.

There are a lot of hair loss treatments available but most of them having serious side effects, so choose wisely.

One of the most popular and fda approved medication for hair loss is Propecia. Propecia is used to treat male pattern baldness and also having some serious side effects.

The Other popular medication for hair loss is Provillus which is made from all herbal and natural ingredients. Provillus does not have any side effects and is used to treat both male and female hair loss. Provillus is available in two different forms: Provillus for men and Provillus for women.
