What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

i know the question sounds racist but there are diffrent beauty treatments for different skin tones (ie, bleaching, ect).

well i'm dark and i want to get rid of hair some hair on my body...and i refuse to wax...shaving makes it grow back thicker and creams kinda work but i end up using almost the whole bottle...what else is there?

and is it true that laser hair removal is only best on lighter skin tones?

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

its a fact. shaving does NOT make your hairs grow back thicker. its just that they all grow at the same time so it gives the ILLUSION that they are darker and thicker.

get an epilator. they pluck every hair one by one fast. it hurts the first couple times but you get use to it.

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

Razorless beard remover. See this link http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I...

It is stronger than the formulas for regular leg hair removal. A little goes a long way.

I am not sure about the laser hair removal specifically, but I do know there are certain aestheticians and comestic surgeons who specialize in treating those with darker skin. Darker skin does have special needs. Try finding a specialist in your area and ask to see examples of work performed on skin tones like your own. Also ask to speak with the patient, if possible, and this is a big if.

Good luck.

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

i use the pink braun epilator on my legs %26amp; it works great!! the first few times it does hurt but you'll get used to it!!

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

from seriousskincare.com they have a product called liquid laser that works great. i am white but when they featured it on hsn the last time, a black woman called in to say that it worked great on her....hope it works for you.

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

nair but on legs and arns shaving cause when you shave it gets the dirt deep in your skin and nair might add dirt but shaving is better arms and legs dont shave nothing else but that

What is the best hair removal treatment for a black person?

i use epilator,

there ok

Mens Hair Loss Treatment?

I am 35 and have been losing my hair for the past 12 years or so. I was able to cure acne by changing my diet and am hoping there is a similar cure for male pattern baldness. I am not interested in Rogaine or Propecia. I am really only interested in natural supplementation or dietary changes. Any help w/ all natural treatments is appreciated.

Mens Hair Loss Treatment?

Use virgin coconut oil.

my mother always apply that. and her hair grow normaly back.

my grandfather apply that too. and there a change he get his hair back about 3 month and the hair can be seen.

Mens Hair Loss Treatment?

Haha loser ... good luck getting a girl now.

Mens Hair Loss Treatment?

get hair implants, I hear they get the hair off dogs, and clean them nice and tidy.

Mens Hair Loss Treatment?

Natural products to prevent hair loss are far and few between. I know no product that is going to prevent HDT(your hormone) from attacking the hair follicles.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

I need a GOOD cheap moisturizer besides olive oil because frankly I've run out of that....

[[I got my hair bleached last friday by a professional, and dyed with semi-perm dye.

I washed it today, and refreshed some of the colors and it is sooo dry]]

Please help thanks.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

Buy Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep conditoner

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

if you want youre hair straight.. i use this matrix shampoo i dont know what its called but its an orange bottle.. its shampoo and conditioner for 29.99 when its on sale.. it works really good. but you should also try any deep conditioner and do it a few times a week, but that shampoo is really good.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

uhhh when my hair is sooper dry, i use mayo no joke it makes hair plump, soft, and the ever so greatly....dehydrated.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

This will sound strange but an addition to moisturizers, Take some Cod Liver oil orally for long lasting correction, you can get it at the pharmacy. The reason is that it has properties to balance the body oil that is destroyed by most perming or dyeing of the hair, as the chemicals used works against the body fluid. This is only advisable if you don't have cholesterol problem. It works wonders.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

its going to cost you but buy redken al soft deep conditioner. it`s worth the 14 dollars trust me you`ll love it

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

Thanks people but I am not looking for shampoos they do nothing for my hair but dry it out, regardless of what they are made to do.

I need creams, oils.

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

my grandma said to use pantene pro v

Best treatment for dry bleached hair?

you can just leave on your normal conditioner for an hour or try mayo. Mayo really moisturizes.

look for cheap brands like VO5 ,suave, white rain, etc. and also check dollar stores (you can find some decent stuff there sometimes)

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I was wondering if regular cooking virgin olive oil does the same thing as the special v05 hair oil treatments. I would be heating it up then applyingit on my hair. Would it do the same thing?

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

no the oil in v05 have a special chemical added to it something and it makes it heated after a while causing your hair roots and molecules to open up and absorb the oil, hence making it smooth and beautiful.

xoxo

Lollie

ps. i would also recommend these products if you hair is a little dry or damaged :

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I would be scared to do that. never heard of it before.

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

NO!.. you'll never get it out, don't do it!

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I don't know about olive oil, but my mother used to do a home treatment of after washing her hair, rinse with vinagar to clarify and remove all build up, then a shine/conditoning treatment of Mayonaise for about an hour, it really does make your hair shiny, but beware, your hair will smell funky for a couple of days!

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

yes, I think it would, but try this first, use Alberto VO5 hairdressing, the Oil Based version and Slick your hair back with it at night before you go to bed, when you wake up in the morning, just shampoo it out, it will have a better effect

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

It isn't the same as V05 because that has other chemicals %26amp; protiens added but you can use it to treat your hair with excellent results. If you don't have olive oil, use oils that are light so they won't weigh your hair down %26amp; will rinse cleaner (like canola or safflower). I make a really good hair oil treatment with jojoba, olive, sweet almond, flax seed oil %26amp; essential oils.

Rinse your hair in the shower then towel dry so it's still damp. Massage in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Put your hair into a shower cap %26amp; let the warm water hit it for a minute or so (the warmer, the better - the heat helps the oil penetrate the hair shaft.) Go on with your regular shower routine. After about 10 minutes or so, remove the shower cap %26amp; shampoo %26amp; condition your hair as normal. (You may have to shampoo twice to remove all the excess oil.) Your hair will be soft %26amp; shiny.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

I have always had thin, fine hair. I could somewhat disguise it with the right products. I have been working on growing it out for sometime. During my cancer treatment, my hair thinned even more. It seems to be staying that way. It is more thin than it used to be. I wanted to keep my hair the length it is...about at my chest but it has no style and it is FLAT. I have some longer layers in it but it will not stay styled or hold curl. Hair Product either does not hold or it makes my hair frizzy. I don't want to cut it, but I am willing if I need too. My stylist is even puzzled. Any ideas?? I have an oval-roundish face. It's also hard for me to want to cut it because my most recent treatment caused me to gain some weight..and I'm a little above average weight wise...but it's still hard because my hair is kind of "my security" and the only thing I am comfortable with since my body is changing with each treatment. BUT I am tired of having NO style in my hair!! Please help!

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

If you go to a great stylist in your area, they should be able to help you. It is hard to tell you what cut you need without seeing and feeling your hair. Try to find a stylist that is experienced. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Also, you shoud buy NIOXIN products. You can buy NIOXIN products at certain salons and even at ULTA. You can read more about it online, just google it. The products are pricey, but you should at least get the shampoo and conditioner. It is proven to help keep the hair you have. Many elderly, cancer patients and customers with thinning hair use it. Don't expect it to work wonders overnight though...you should notice a difference through continued use over a long period of time.

Hope it helps!

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

try layers....

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

first thing

sorry about getting cancer, that is always hard on people and their families

and i think maybe you should get a hair weave? like make it looks thicker

you can buy shampoos and shorter hair makes your face look bigger

so the longer the better if your self concious about the weight

im sure the weave will hold the style better

and your hair will grow back to normal soon enough

hope that helps

bless-x-x

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

go with something shorter and a bit spiky....look up Diane Keatons hair style, its short but the length can vary. There are, shoot what to they call those products??They have some out now specifically for adding a flip in various directions so your hair looks fuller. Look up her style online and if you like it take the pic to your stylist. This style works with very thin hair as well as thick.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

You got Cancer OMG! I feel so sorry for you I hope you feel better and oh to answer your question get hair extensions or get a wig.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

Ok. I have one style to say. Layers. Layers are thin and choppy. If you had layers then people wouldn't even know if you had cancer. Thats the good thing about them. Also layers are in style right now. I hope i helped!

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

I'm sorry you got cancer. You must be a strong lady. I think it's respectable, that you fought through treatments and came out on top.

As far as styling goes, I'd say something about to your collarbone, would be flattering. Perhaps lots of layers and texture, and side-swept bangs would frame your face beautifully.

Hope that helps! God bless.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

my cousin was only 12 and lost almost all her beautiful hair we both cryed i cut it in a really cute short cut because it was so fryed, jesse took tons of really good vitimins and her strait hair cam back cirly shiny and so pretty she looks like a doll .. cut your damaged hair take vitimins eat lots of healty food and use a good hair shampoo.. you will look better than before

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

I had an aunt who had multiplmyeloma. She cut her hair fairly short and chunky layers, then wore a wig until it grew back.

When it grew back, it was thicker and softer than it was before, she said.

If you're feeling it looks a little too thin, maybe getting it cut for the short term? It can always grow back. ;)

The below site, you need to sign up... but you can upload a picture of yourself and try diff styles. (free)

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

You should get a short, facing framing cut with several layers. This will add body and volume, and any thinning/ uneveness will be less noticable.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

Get cornrows/ all the way braided down. It's great ;)

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

There are wigs available for cancer patients. Ask your

doctor for information. Wear a pink ribbon for cancer to start.

If you do not prefer to have a wig. Just buy tee shirts and

have them printed "bald is beautiful" or better yet"

"I am surviving cancer" and let people know you are thinking

positive. There are many fighters out there. I see them all the

time, and you are one of them. my prayers to you. ():-})-{+

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

1] cut some layers into it - that will give it more body.

2] go to Nioxin website and research your hair type, and their products. Then search the web for cheapest prices. [ last time I got it on Ebay.

3] Finished chemo [ COMPLETE loss of hair ] for breast cancer and medically induced menopause from the hormone treatment afterwards.

Started Nioxin system on Easter, and my stylist is pleased.

They also have styling products for fine/thin hair.

Hair Thinned from Cancer Treatment...What Cut do I need??

Everyone is saying get layers. NO, the layers will make your hair look even thinner. Bring the length up to more of a medium length and have it cut blunt on the bottom.

PS. Please take care and I hope the cancer treatment worked. Good luck Hun and God bless.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatmen

The hair is very dull, brittle, light and drandruff.hair loss too.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

I don't use Henna but I found this site. I hope it helps!

http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/index....

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Henna

Water

Er, that's it.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Henna Powder mixed with water! Need to make sure you make it so that its a creamy thick paste, make sure its not to runny or thick n lumpy!!

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Henna is usually mixed with water. but select natural henna, and grind it yourself. do not go in for the ready mix, they are not good for hair as they contain chemicals.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Henna is the dye is extracted from the dried leaf and petioles of the (henna) plant.

Henna and water. Basically a paste.

People mainly put in on their bodies (hands/arms).

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Henna is good for Ur hair,,u just add water and mix,its abit messy thoe, once you henna there is alot of hair dyes u can't use on your hair until it grows out so be really sure you want to use henna but it is really good so i don't want to put you off..

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Add water and mix to a paste but check the pack when you buy it some Henna turns out a lot redder than others! Also get some of those plastic gloves for your hands other wise you'll stain them too. It's supposed to add vitamins and nutrients.

I would also recommend that you pick up some vitamins for hair and nails from your local chemists. They'll take 2-4 weeks to show a marked difference but they should take care of the dry brittle thing and take some vitamin E pills for your scalp.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

If you've got pure henna, not those mixed things, then it should be soaked overnight, then mixed with 1-2 eggs, some yogurt and little bit lemon juice. If you don't want color, then make sure that you put some oil on your hair before applying henna. Leave the mixture on for 30-45 min, and shampoo off. Henna has good conditioning properties, yes, but if you overdo it, it can make hair dry and brittle. So limit the treatment to only once a month.

Henna is a good stuff for hair. what are the ingredients required to prepare the henna hair treatment?

Yes pure body art quality henna is best for your hair. You can add some lemon juice and water warmed up to your henna powder. That is all you need for a basic recipe. if you want to tone down the reddish tones use coffee, or amla powder or indigo to your hair. The amla powder will also promote hair growth and all of the above will help with the dandruff. This is a very good blend to use.

If you like you may add some essential oils to your hair to leave it smelling great or even orange blossom water or rose water too.

In between you can even try henna gloss treatment. Put some henna into your conditioner and give your hair a nice deep treatment and leave it even softer and moisturized.

I have hair loss problem at the age of 20years.what is the reason,is there any treatment for it?

The type of hair loss is, the hairs which fall seems to be rootless or say with a very unhealthy roots(degenerated roots). Also i have dandruf problem with acne pimples in my boby. I feel horrible and depressed sometimes.

Please find a way for its treatment.

I have hair loss problem at the age of 20years.what is the reason,is there any treatment for it?

i have these kind of symptoms too. it might be the shampoo you using. i recommend you to use neutrogena body wash for your body acne cause i use it and it kinds of work.

I have hair loss problem at the age of 20years.what is the reason,is there any treatment for it?

Hair loss is something most men secretly 'fear' but hope it may never actually occur. After all, thinning hair and baldness is something that kids use to identify the elderly, despite the fact that the process can begin before 20 years of age! A good head of hair is associated with youth, virility and attractiveness, so when hair loss occurs it can come as something of a shock.

Since records began, men have documented their attempts to reverse the process of hair loss and cure baldness. The bible tells the story of how when Samson's hair was cut he lost his strength and power. The unspoken agenda for men is that to be hairless, or for the hair to be depleted, equates with a loss of power and virility, something that is clearly not the case.

Some creative but ultimately fruitless concoctions have been devised in an attempt to get the thatch back. Cleopatra used a mixture of horse teeth, bear grease, burnt mice and deer marrow in her attempt to cure Julius Caesar's baldness (it didn't work). Hedgehog urine was also thought to be beneficial. The smell in the heat of the Egyptian sun must have been something very special!

Facts About Cures for Baldness

There is currently no cure for baldness. There are some lotions that can help slow down the process but there is no cure for male pattern baldness. There are, however, a number of things that you should consider.

Life Coach Suggestions for Male Hair Loss

Emphasize your other facial features. Lots of men are using products to improve their looks. There are many products in the department and drug stores that improve your skin. If you have great eyes think about getting your eyelashes dyed. Seek advice from a beautician, health expert or friend.

Update your clothes style. Good clothes and attention to your appearance can make you look much younger and more attractive. Make the most of what hair you do have. One of the most effective is to get a good hair cut. Short, cropped and styled. Consider having a light perm, it can add volume. Shaving it off completely looks great.

Get a hair piece. Covering up a bald area can be the answer. Hair pieces now look very realistic. Good ones can be very expensive but last a long time when cared for properly.

Wear a hat. There are great hats around - from cool to just plain stylish.

Medications for male hair loss

There are two drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration and are shown to have a positive effect on balding, Finasteride and Minoxidil (Rogaine).

Finasteride is a 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitor, that is, it works by blocking 5-Alpha reductase and so prevents the enzyme from converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is DHT that causes male pattern baldness. There are two drugs that contain Finasteride, Propecia and Proscar. Originally prescribed by doctors for benign prostate hyperplasia (prostate problems), the drug has been shown to stop hair loss and in some cases reverse the balding process. Finasteride takes about three months to show results and hair loss occurs a year after the drug is stopped. Side effects are unusual but can include impotence, reduced libido, ejaculation disorders, breast tenderness and enlargement, hypersensitivity reactions such as rashes and lip swelling. Women of child bearing potential should not touch the drug and condoms should be used as the drug is excreted in semen as there is a risk of birth defects.

Minoxidil (Regaine) is found to be effective in about 25% of men with baldness on the crown. Applied twice a day in a cream the hair growth only occurs as long as it is used. Minoxidil was originally approved to treat high blood pressure. Side effects are unusual but Regaine should not be used by people with a history of heart problems, sudden weight gain, chest pains, fainting, or rapid heartbeat.

Surgical Intervention for male hair loss

In the case of hair transplants very small plugs of hair are taken from the side or back of the scalp and transplanted onto the bald patches. The procedure has improved over the years but it still takes a number of months to give a good effect.

Tissue expansion for male hair loss Tiny balloons are inserted under the scalp between the areas of dense hair and gradually inflated over a number of months. This makes the area up to one third larger and it is this area that is surgically removed and the sides are pulled up to the top of the head.

Scalp reduction for male hair loss Loose skin on the scalp is surgically removed pulling the hair on the sides of the head up. As the skin on the forehead is also sometimes slightly lifted it lessens wrinkles.

I have hair loss problem at the age of 20years.what is the reason,is there any treatment for it?

Minioxidil..what do you think of it using hair treatment?

If posible tell me advantages, disadvantages and side effects,

usually i dont suffer of a major hair loss, but my brother is bold so i dont want that...so would it help??

Minioxidil..what do you think of it using hair treatment?

I've been using xandrox15 off and on since last January - (still using the same first bottle - although it's starting to get a bit low). I generally apply before bed.

I also use regular minox 5% in the am.

Hasn't helped me one bit that I can see - but what the hell - 15% minoxidil - Yeah, I'll continue to use it. I was alternating the xandrox15 before bed w/ revivogen serum up until just recently. Have since dropped the revivogen and will apply the xandrox15 more regularly.

An off the top of my head recollection of all people polled from various forums shows a 50 / 50 split for xandrox15 effectiveness.

50% claim it hasn't helped them any more than regular 5% minoxidl.

The other 50% claim very good regrowth results - even at the temporal hairline.

As with any hair regrowth effort - your mileage may vary. ingsaludossssssssssssssssssssssss

Minioxidil..what do you think of it using hair treatment?

It probably won't do much either way.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair

My hair is frizzy, and split end city...

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

First of all, how does your hair feel when it's wet? If it feels dry and hay-like, you need a deep moisturizer. If it feels, sticky or elastic-like, you need a reconstructor. For deep moisturizers, I like Redken AllSoft Heavy Cream. You need to shampoo your hair, towel dry it, then put the Heavy Cream on for 15 minutes. Then rinse it will cool water. For reconstructors, I like Joico K-Pak reconstrucor. Shampoo your hair, apply the reconstructor and leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. You want to make sure not to leave any reconstructor in your hair longer than the directions say because protein can build up on your hair and cause it to be brittle and dry. So...shampoo your hair and see how it feels when it's wet. One of these conditioners will do wonders on your hair.

-Do hot oil treatment using olive oil once a week. This nourishes your hair.

-Do deep conditioning 3 times a week using a good hair mask like Neutrogena triple moisture, elvive from loreal or pantene deep fortifying treatment. These nourish your hair and make it healthy and shiny.

-Use sunsilk straighten up leave-in conditioner to protect your hair when u go out in the sun

-Trim your hair once every 8-10 weeks to remove split ends.

-Massage your scalp daily using a wide toothed comb. This improves circulation into your head and stimulates growth.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

Try getting your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks and use more than one shampoo/conditioner set. I have 3 or 4 shampoo/conditioner sets in my shower and rotate them everyday for softer, healthier, and shinier hair... Also try not to take scalding hot showers, air dry as much as possible, use less styling agents, and rinsing hair with cool to cold water before getting out of the shower will help improve the shine.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

You could rub mayo in your hair and let in in there for about l5 minutes or more, you get extra heat from putting a plastic bag over it. It gives it alot of moisture. Sounds crazy, but it does work. Good luck.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

Try "Kerphix" by "Nexxus".

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over thirty years.

Hope this helps.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

I have the same problem, what I do is use moisterizing shampoo%26amp;%26amp;conditioner from bath %26amp; body works, then a leave-in conditioner by Paul Mitchell, and since my hair is curly I also use a curl enhancer serum to help control it.

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

I'd never need to shave my legs again.. but does it hurt?

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

Who told u that u dont need to shave ur legs after that?

laser hair removal is a good way for remove the hair and make them thin but it wont destroy all of ur folicules and not for always...it depends on ur skin and hair(if u have white skin with terminal thick hairs it will give u the best result but not completely)...

u have to do it 3 to 5 times with 4 to 6 weeks between them ..and after that depends on the result u see maye u have to do it again and again every 2 or 3 months....

u wont lose ur hair totally for always ....

pls talk to mor edermatologist and dont trust to comercial and cosmetic centers

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

Sonar Laser is supposed to be really good. I think they do a test patch on you so they can find out how sensitive you are to the laser.

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

its totally worth it, it hurts at first because u arent accustomed to the feeling, but its not painfull! once u get accustomed they keep raising the level of heat or radiation or whatever.

good luck :)

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

yes it does hurt.......and its hurt u more when u pay.....and its also depend on your leg hair.....i mean its depend how many treatments u need.........it does hurt....but no infection

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

ive never done it but i want to.

i heard there are many different types of it so you can choose the least painful one.

i also heard it hurts the first and second time, but then you get used to it

good luck!

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

this technology is been implemented just few years ask this question after 10-15 years and if there is no side effects then yopu will judge by your own.........

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

YES, YES YES!!!! My god, my legs where like a soccer player楹搒, I have it done on legs, armpits and bikini line, the type of laser i use goes to the blood on the hair, so the thiker the hair, the better.... I AM DELIGHTED!!!! What a difference, it was sumthing really awkard for me, even after shaving, the next day I would have the heads sticking out again, besides, im dark haired so.... imagine. Its not cheap, but totally worth it. Go to a good place though, get information from a doctor and stuff!!!!

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

I've never tried it, but I've heard that your hair does in fact grow back eventually, but it grows back very fine and soft. Usually it will come back blonde. Additionally, if you decided to do it, it's best if you are of a darker-haired nature. I've heard that the lasers that are used, are only attracted to dark-colored hairs and misses the light/blondish hairs.

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

It is only worth it if the treatment actually works, it might be a little painful.

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

well, keep in mind you have to go back for about 6 weeks or treatment or so.. its not like it instantly zaps your hairs away, and if you have darker pigments in your skin, your not a good candidate for it, because, what the laser actually does is it zaps the roots, and bassically bleaches your hairs, and shrink the roots, so if you have pigment in your skin, it will leave some discoloration.. make sure you find a legit place if you do it.. and they use a numbing lotion , so you may feel a little something.. but you shouldnt feel any crazy pain, but it may be a little sensitive after that.. goodluck!

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

totally worth it!! I have had 1 treatment so far on my arm pits and bikini line, already notice a huge difference!!!!! I am considering splurging on my legs too. Yes it hurt a little, but nothing unbareable and about the same as waxing. You do it in 4-5 treatments over a 14 month period. The finer your hair, the less it hurts with each treatment. The courser the hair the more it hurts, but after one treatment, everything that has grown back in (which is not much) is totally fine and falls out, I imagine the next treatment will be much better! cant wait!!!!! DO IT!

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

totally go for it i waiting to get the dough its the first thing ill really splurge on

plus think of all the money you will save on wax and razors n the long run plus add all the hassle that goes with it LASER REALLY IS THE BEST

Is hair removal laser treatment worth it?

I would recommend it, but I thought it hurt quite a bit. The nurse that did the IPL told me to take some paracetamol, aspirin or so, half an hour before the treatment to take the edge off the pain. When it is done where there isn't a lot of fatty tissue but it is close to the bone (shin etc), it hurts most. But as the others said already, your leg numbs after a while and it's bearable. It found it less painful than electrolysis.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

I had a perm about five months ago and my hair is shaggy and has split ends.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

Sounds like you might be lacking certain vitamins in your diet. Find out what vitamins are good for your hair.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

Infusium 23

It's watery...don't use much...great product and doesn't leave hair greasy like most conditioners.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

dude(dudette) if your hair is fried that bad, leave it alone. the ends have to be cut back and regrown. next time do the darned test on the box. itll give you a finer time line. like if i color my hair, i know to keep it on just a pinch longer, or it wont even make a difference. frosting is different. minimum for me or im fried.

try vo5 hot oil and conditioner every day. no blow drier.maybe some paul mitchell or some other high end product. good luck.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

You should by a very good deep conditioner.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

Infusium 23 is excellent, especially the leave in conditioner. They also have a new pantene for damage restoration but you need to concentrate more on growing and preserving better hair than fixing what you have. You won't see a change for a long time maybe but don't brush your hair, especially if it is wet. Brushing is very damaging so go without it if you can and just comb it with a wide tooth comb or your fingers. Also don't sleep with it down or twist it in a towel. Sleep with it braided or in a high lose bun and heat style as little as possible. Also get a 1/2 inch trim every 4-6 weeks!

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

L'Oreal has got a after shampoo, either dry or wet, when you finished shower, take a 2 sprays on ya palm and apply on your head or hair or scalp or on your split ends.

Its specifically meant to treat split ends.

My hair splits almost to the top of my head, What is the best hair treatment for me?

Split-ends cannot be "fixed" with a hair product. That kind of damage is not repairable. The product like Infusium 23 and VO5 and Pantene's new product as others have mentioned don't fix your hair they just smooth the cuticle so the frayed ends don't stick out, making it appear like it's fixing it. The only thing you can do to get rid of the split ends are cut them off and start over. Don't cut them part way off or what's left will just keep splitting.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

I sleep with it in my hair all night and wake up to wash it..but the problem is in its smell..how can I cover it at night so that my pillow won't catch that smell??

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

wrap a towel around your pillow. wear a plastic cap and a beanie.

I use olive oil to! It's fantastic isn't it?

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

A shower cap?

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

wrap it up and wear a heavy scarf.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

wear a swimming cap or a beanie. it will keep in the stuff and keep it thick, whilst keeping your pillow case dry.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

I too treat my hair with olive oil, unfortunately it is not healthy to sleep with your head covered, so keep the treatment for a sunday where u can have it in your hair all day instead. also only use once a week, olive oil is known to alter the color of the hair in the long run, you may not want to much color damage.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

Don't use olive oil every night, use it once or twice in a week and before going to bed wear swimining cap.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

me too i used olive oil for my hair. before i used to sleep with it but its too oily so i use it during daytime an hour is enough.

I use Olive oil for hair treatment...?

You can use plastic hair cap available in the market.

Does anyone know the best hair treatment thats not pantene or garnier fructis?

The best conditioner is Infusium 23. It will definitely make your hair shiny.

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

My hair is curly and I`ve been told it needs lots of moisture...can anyone recommend anything?

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

go to sepora.com

fredick fhekki makes the best line for us curly headed girls!!! I dont even want to remember what I looked like before i found it.... %26lt;3

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

Pantene

or Garnier

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

I would really recommend Apivita's hair masks or frederick fekkai's hair treatment. Both of them work really well. You can check the source for the information and my detailed reviews.

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

there are two solutions:

1. you can get it professionally done at the salon. just ask for the deep conditioning treatment and they'll know what you're talking about. this can be a bit pricey though. if you're looking for something a bit cheaper ...

2. you can buy it at the store for a cheaper price. go to the aisle for hairproducts and look around and see if they have any hair masques or deep conditioning treatments available. i personally use garnier fructise hair masque. it really does make your hair super soft, bouncy and super shiny.

if you need any questions, you can ask ! hoped i helped(:

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

DO NOT USE PANTENE IT'S TERRIBLE FOR YOU HAIR. Ion is the best and you can get it at a sally's beauty store.

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

Pantene is great. Try Pantene Pro v Daily Moisture Renewal. I use it once a week and it leaves my hair really soft and shiny. Andrew Collinge is another great brand.

What`s the best deep conditioning treatment for my hair?

They are several things that you can do to make your curly hair more smooth, straight, and manageable without using chemicals or heat. Moisture is extremely critical to make your hair soft and manageable. However, you need to infuse your hair with long-lasting moisture that won閳ユ獩 weigh your hair down.

Tip #1: Do conditioning pre-wash treatments to your hair before shampooing it. Simply whip up 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a 1 egg. Let it remain on your hair for at least an hour. The lemon juice will act as a straightener. The mayonnaise and egg will strengthen and moisturize your hair. Do this 2-3 times a week.

Tip # 2: Buy a high quality, all natural hydrating and straightening hair care product for your hair. I have tried several hair care products, including Carol's Daughter, Giovanni, RedKen, Burt Bees, Ojon, KeraCare, and Motions. However, I recommend using GodHead Silky Smooth Hydrating Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. It will hydrate and smooth your hair while infusing your scalp with essential oils made to grow and treat dry, coarse, and damaged hair. The product also contains moisturizing Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, and Jojoba, which will heal and moisturize your strands and make your hair more bouncy, shiny, smooth, and healthy. The product will also soften and detangle your hair better than most, if not all, products on the hair care market. As a result, your hair will be more manageable and more straight. And, the more you use it, the straighter it will become. Go to www.discoverb4a.com to find the products.

If you don't want to waste any more money, I would buy this product. But, if you go with another brand of products, make you stray away from traditional, unnatural hair care products available for purchase in most drugstores or beauty supply stores. They contain synthetic emulsifiers and harsh detergents, such as Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Phosphates, Dimethicone, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Unfortunately, these products are loaded with toxins and chemicals and will strip your hair of moisture and nutrients it needs to be soft, smooth, healthy, and hydrated.

"Unfortunately, these products are loaded with toxins and chemicals and will strip your hair of moisture and nutrients it needs to be soft, smooth, healthy, and hydrated"

just a follow up to that statement, it's not true! Sulfates are used to clean the hair, and mostly only people who constantly wash or have curly hair might notice the difference. most people don't notice them, and the cancer myth of 1998 concerning them was a hoax, so don't believe that stuff. dimethicone, along with other silicones, don't damage hair either, infact if you don't use them while heat styling hair, you could be very badly damaged. i know all natural stuff is good, but sometimes powerful ingredients aren't always found in nature, so they have to be made, and just because something is synthetic, doesn't mean it's the devil either.
