Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

I have this one spot on the crown of my head that feels really gross. I don't know if it is oily or greasy but i have tried switching shampoo and conditioner, tried head and sholders, tried with hairspray with out hair spray and it won't go away. It isn't really even on my scalp it's just around the crown area and it almost feels like I just didn't wash it well enough and that it has gunk in it. Any ideas on what to do?

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

This is going to sound stupid but its the truth.I get that in the same spot when I let my regrowth grow to much. Its a combination of the hair texture and oil in the scalp together.I die the regrowth and the hair texture changes and the problem goes away. That's not the right answere for you because you probably don't dye your hair .Have you tried a clarifying shampoo in that spot. that might help .You can put some baking soda in a palm of shampoo and use that for a clarifier too. I would use a clarifier once a week and see if theres any changes.

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

use flour on the greasy area

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

Stop using conditioner and use a shampoo formulated for oily hair. If you must use conditioner, apply a leave-on formula to your ends only, not the roots. If the problem still persists, there are dry-shampoo formulas (powder sprays, basically). Bumble%26amp;Bumble carries one. Those can help carry you through between shampoos. Good luck!

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

It is an area that can be overlooked when washing out your shampoo. The best advice I can offer is shampoo your hair with the new Sunsilk oily scalp shampoo (light blue) it works and only condition your hair from thed base of your neck down otherwise if you are prone to oily hair, conditioning your scalp will make it worse.

Good Luck

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

use an oil-free shampoo

Oily/greasy hair treatment...?

use the aussie two in one treatment for greasy hair and split ends it works wonders and it has a great smell !!!!! It's called Aussie Two in one, Root cleanser and tip mender!!! Wal*Mart.

Where can I get hair treatment or what products should I use?

I wouldnt say I have bad or unhealthy looking hair.. It just gets annoying when it's kinda frizzy or a little too poofy. not to mention the hair falling like crazy. I want straight, silky-smooth, and semi volumized hair. What would you recommend?

Where can I get hair treatment or what products should I use?

i would definitely recommend silk drops by design line @ regis salons because it is a serum that adds shine and frizz-control!!!!!!!!!

Where can I get hair treatment or what products should I use?

If you are a person with normal to oily hair you can literally mix mayonnaise about HALF a teaspoon with two eggs and beat them into a creamy mix and put this on your hair and then wrap a warm towel around your head and let it set for an hour and then shampoo it out...go light on the mayo or you will have trouble getting it all washed out. If you want to go with a commercial product Aussies 3 Minute Miracle is great. If you have really dry hair Afrosheen is wonderful, put it thick in your hair and thn cover hair with a shower cap for about an hour but dont wash it out just blot the hair with a soft dry towel.

Does hot oil hair treatment helps...?

stimulates hair growth. my hair is thinning what shall i do to let it grow and make it thicker.

Does hot oil hair treatment helps...?

hot oil treatments are meant to repair damaged hair as well as strengthen your hair. the only thing that will help your hair grow faster (and possibly a little thicker) is to take a multi-vitamin with protein. i recommend to start taking prenatal vitamins. it doesn't matter that you're not pregnant, all it is is a multi-vitamin with protein (that's why i am suggesting it). so just take some vitamins, hot oil treatments are always a good idea (just don't over do it), and get your dead ends trimmed about every 4 to 6 months.

What does deep conditioning hair treatment?

umm great clips does deep hair conditioning for like 20 bucks and im thinking of gettin it done casue me hairs like damaged and yeah... so can someone please tell me what it does and if it makes a difference in your hair thanks

What does deep conditioning hair treatment?

YES it makes a big differance. basically it gives moisture to your hair. it repairs damaged hair and protects it from being damged further. it gives a healthy glow to your hair with great luster. the longer you have it , the better

but try a hot oil treatment for dry hair... you can simply wash the oil out when youre done. they are a lot cheaper and in some cases deliver beter results

What does deep conditioning hair treatment?

NOOOOOOOO!

do this instead it's a lot cheaper!!!!

http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/dept/121...

What does deep conditioning hair treatment?

In my salon I do deep cond. treatments, but for damaged hair I recommend finding a salon that does deep fuel treatments with Redken extreme, or Cera repair by biolage. This will do alot more than any conditioning treatment.

Homemade Natural Recipes for Hair Treatment?

well one that i usually do for dry or damaged hair is to get 2 hass avocado's and mash them up with about 2 tbl spoons of olive oil and apply the mix to ur hair, leave in about 20-30 minutes and then rinse. this should be done at least twice a week, for really dry and brittle hair. remember to cut ur ends every 4-6 weeks.

Can anyone recommend a good hair treatment for fine, dry, highlighted hair?

Looking for products that will not weigh down my fine hair but at the same time give it volume and yet not dry it out. Sometimes my hair looks like a birds nest. Would love to find a product that would give my pathetic hair some bounce and movement. Thanks!!

thermasilk or dove...i had dry hair and thermasilk really helped my hair out a lot...it's cheap and it works wonders :D

Can anyone recommend a good hair treatment for fine, dry, highlighted hair?

There is a product you can get at Sally Beauty suppy called Ion Reconstructor Treatment. It is very good I like to use it a couple of times a month. You do need to know though that since your hair is fine you should use it and then wash your hair because if you just rinse it out it will be too heavy and will weigh the hair down. It works great though. Your hair will feel much softer and strong for a couple of weeks after using it.

You should try John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo it doesn't really matter if you are blonde but it's fabulous for moisturizing dry hair without making it greasy.

I currently use Biotin 5,000 iu, vitamin E, vitamin B-12 and a multivitamin. Alot of hair growth is from the inside out. mane n' tail is amazing.Avacado oil also has alot of vitamins and is great for the scalp and you can also try lavander oil. i suggest you make sure your hair is deeply conditioned once a week. i personally love the avacado oil (rub into your scalp and hair really well) (buy at healthfood stores) and then on top of that rub in the hemp and placenta mix (packets at walmart in hair section) you can also use olive oil as a great moisturizer as well. make sure to wrap your head in a warm heated towel for about 30 mins or so and then rinse really well. Don't shampoo though or else you undo what you have done. My hair came out super soft and not at all greasy, and very tangle free.

i hv recently had d laser treatment for hair removal on my face. though it has been my first sitting i've got so many small pimples on my once so clear face. i wonder wat will happen after d 6 sittings which r 2 b done. is dere any way to get rid of dem?i'm really starting to look very ugly coz of dem............help pls!

I hv gt lots of pimples on my face due to laser hair removal treatment. help!?

I have had eight laser hair removal treatments. I have seen around 75% effectiveness so far. Each time it has been more and more effective. I am currently pretty satisfied with the treatments. I believe that after my tenth treatment I will only have to come back in once every two or three years. I started with a lot of dark hair and a medium complexion though. I would say that the lighter hairs take more treatments.

As far as the pimpling. It happens every time. It takes two to three days and much of it will go away. It takes two weeks or better for a complete recovery. Treat the breakout as you normally would.

I hv gt lots of pimples on my face due to laser hair removal treatment. help!?

whoever did the lasering should offer you a solution to this problem or........go to a derm

I hv gt lots of pimples on my face due to laser hair removal treatment. help!?

better ask the person who do the laser activity, what if,the laser activity that u d0 is the reason why your starting to hve pimples.Or, are using facial creams before?Watch out for what u are using,i think you hve sensitive skin.

I hv gt lots of pimples on my face due to laser hair removal treatment. help!?

Check with electrologist- its extremely common! If she isn't able to help, I'd say go to a derm. Meanwhile, get some calamine lotion and apply a bit of it- it'll sooth the skin. :)

If we offered you a miracle remedy that cures "Leucoderma/Vitiligo" would you buy it? Certainly you would. You won閳ユ獩 find it in a Pharmacy but at the Grocery Store.

Try the Natural Cures for Leucoderma/Vitiligo.

Lecucoderma, also known as vitiligo, is a distressing skin condition. The word literally means 閳ユΤhite skin閳? There is a gradual loss of pigment melanin from the skin layers which results in white patches. These patches look ugly, especially in persons with dark complexions.

The condition does not cause any organic harm. It ,however, brings about great psychological tension to the patient who is more embarassed than the victim of any pain or discomfort. The condition thus, besides being a medical problem, also becomes a social stigma.

Leucoderma is a fairly common disorder and it affects 1% or more of the world閳ユ獨 population. The incidence is a little higher in India. The disorder can occur at any age in either sex in normal skin. It is, however, more common in women than men. The most affected areas are the hands, the neck, the back and the wrist in that order.

Symptoms: The problem usually starts with a small white spot and later on it develops into patches. These patches are pale in the beginning but become whiter and whiter as time passes due to loss of pigment. As spots enlarge, they merge into each other and, in course of time, form a very broad patch. In some cases, most of the skin of the body may be covered with white patches.

Causes: Many wrong beliefs are prevalent about the causes of leucoderma. It is not caused by eating fish and drinking milk at the same time, as is generally believed because even vegetarians suffer from this disorder. Other food combinations such as pumpkin and milk, onion, and milk as possible causes of leucoderma also have no basis.

Leucoderma is not caused by any germs; nor is it due bad blood. It is neither infectious nor contagious. It cannot be transmitted from one person to another by physical contact. The main causes of leucoderma are excessive mental worry, chronic or acute gastric disorder, impaired hepatic function such as jaundice, worms or other parasites in the alimentary canal, ailments like typhoid which affect the gastrointestinal tract, defective perspirative mechanism and burn injuries. Often the hormone secreting glands are involved in this disorder. Heredity is also a causative factor and about 30% of patients have a family history of the disorder.

Treatment: In nature cure, the treatment of leudoderma consists of adoption of constitutional measures to cleanse the system of accumulated toxins. This enables the healing power within the body to assert itself, and produce normalcy. To begin with, the patient should undertake a fast on juices for about a week. In this regimen, he or she should take fruit or vegetable juices, diluted with water on 50:50 basis every 2-3 hours from 08.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m. The bowels should be cleansed daily with warm water during this period.

After the juice fast, the patient may adopt a restricted diet consisting of fresh fruits, raw or steamed vegetables and whole meal bread or chappaties. Curd and milk may be added to this diet after a few days. The patient may thereafter gradually embark upon a well-balanced diet of seeds, nuts and grains, vegetables, and fruits. The large proportion of the diet should consist of raw foods. Seeds and beans such as alfalfa, mung, and soyabeans can be sprouted. This diet may be supplemented with cold-pressed vegetable oils, honey, and yeast. Juice fasting may be repeated at intervals of two months. The patient should avoid tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, and all condiments and highly flavoured dishes. He or she should also avoid sugar, white flour products, denatured cereals like polished rice and pearled barley and tinned or bottled foods.

Home Remedies: Certain home remedies have been found useful in the treatment of leucoderma. The best known of such remedies is the use of seeds of psoralea, known as babchi in Hindi. Seeds should be steeped in the juice of ginger or cow閳ユ獨 urine for three days. The fluids should be renewed every day. The seeds should then be rubbed with hands to remove their husks, dried in the shade and powdered. 1 g of this powder should be taken every day with fresh milk for 40 days continuously. The ground seeds should also be applied to the white spots.

Babchi seeds, combined with tamarind seeds, are also useful. Equal quantity of both the seeds should be steeped in water for three to four days. They should then be shelled and dried in the shade. They should be ground into paste and applied to the white patches for a week. If the application of this paste causes itching or the white spots become red and a fluid being to ooze out, it should be discontinued. If there is no itching or reddening, babchi seeds should be taken also for 40 days.

Another useful remedy for leucoderma is red clay found by the riverside or on hill slopes. The clay should be mixed in ginger juice and applied over the white spots once a day. The copper contained in the clay seems to bring back skin pigmentation and ginger juice serves as a milk stimulant, facilitating increased blood flow to the spots. Drinking water kept overnight in a copper vessel also helps.

A paste made from the seeds of the radish is valuable in treating leucoderma. About 35 g of these seeds should be powdered in vinegar and applied on the white patches. For better results, seeds should be finely pounded, mixed with a little white arsenic, and soaked in vinegar at night. After 2 hours, when leaves appear, it should be rubbed on the leucoderma patches.

The use of turmeric and mustard oil is also considered beneficial in the treatment of leucoderma. About 500 g of turmeric should be pounded and soaked in 8 Kg of water at night. It should be heated in the morning till only 1 Kg of water is left. It should then be strained and mixed with 500 g of mustard oil. This mixture should be heated till only the oil is left. It should be applied on white patches every morning and evening for a few months.

Hope this helps, Good Luck.

I read somebody mixing pimples with leukoderma. Simple creams like Retino-A or Eudyna should cure pimples. It may be temporary anyhow, worrying over it (which is natural) may aggravate it. So stop worrying!

Use baby powder to dry up the pimples and next time dont go to laser sessions in beauty centers. I bought my Epila from http://epila.tripod.com and it worked with me. It came with a 1 year gurantee and I am satisfied with how it works. It works on the root of the hair, so it has no effect on the skin. Harvard University and many scientists agreed that this product works. You can use it at home without giving ur skin any harm!

Clarifying hair treatment with baking soda?

I know that mixing some baking soda with your shampoo can clarify your hair, I just can't remeber how much. So I was wondering if anyone has every done it and how much they put in their shampoo?

Clarifying hair treatment with baking soda?

I do it alot! You can use only baking soda if you want, too. Dump like a tablespoon of baking soda in your palm. Then, add water to make it pastey. Then, rub it in to your hair WHILE IT'S DRY. Then, rub it in and lather well. Rinse with cool/lukewarm water.

It's ALOT more effective when you put it in your hair while it's still dry ;)

What hair treatment should i get?

i want to get my hair straightened ... it is very very curly ... but i can keep it healthier when it is straight ... it takes me upto four hours to straighten it everytime ... ive heard i should get a permanant straightner ... should i get a japanese str. , a home kit ,or a relaxer? what exactly do each of these do, where should i buy home kits, and how much do they cost? thanks.

What hair treatment should i get?

okay i recommend the home kit,, it is not hard at all,,go to your local beauty supply and tell them you want a straightner kit and take it home and follow instructions,, also they straightner shampoo that you can use everyday and slowly it will get straight

Organic hair treatment?

Are their any orangic things from the kitchen that I could use to make my hair nice and soft?

Organic hair treatment?

Ive been told by two different stylists that the best thing to use on the hair is mayonaise. It has everything in it thats needed for deep down conditioning and softening. Also, for permed hair, rinse in vinegar...it neutralizes the acid

Organic hair treatment?

olive oil and honey works. then wash it out.

Organic hair treatment?

if anything in your kitchen could make your hair soft, they never would have invented hair products. you can buy organic hair care products but they don't work very well. you'll end up having hair like a hippie.

Organic hair treatment?

avocado and honey mask.

Real mayonaisse, not miracle whip, put on leave for 1-2 hours(covering with a plastic cap) wash out. For another time you want shiny hair, cool as you can stand it water rinses followed by vinegar and water rinse. Bow dry .

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

i have heard that mayonnaise works really good in hair.. but how do you do it? like how do you apply it, how long do you keep it in.. that type of stuff. if you could give me some info. that would be great!

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Beat up on an Egg: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up. Continue to rinse until all of the egg is washed away

Go for the Mayo: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Mix up a Tropical Treat: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this exotic puree into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out鈥n the kitchen sink!).

Grab a Cold One. Beer can give your dry hair a healthy sheen. Before you blow-dry or style, use a pump bottle to spray brew onto your hair. The beer will leave your hair shiny and sleek and its odor will disappear quickly.

In addition to using these home remedies regularly to avoid dry hair, try the following preventative measures:

Avoid overshampooing. Shampooing can wash away the hair's protective oils, so try washing less often and use a mild shampoo labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

Condition regularly. Conditioners protect the hair鈥檚 cuticle layer from splitting from the shaft. Pick a conditioner that works well for your hair and use it after every shampoo.

Wear a hat. Too much exposure to wind and sun can leave hair thirsty.

Trim off split ends. The biggest problem caused by dry hair is split ends. Schedule a trim every six to eight weeks to keep fraying ends under control.

Ease up on the heat. Heat (in the form of blow dryers, as well as straightening and curling irons) can quickly dry out hair. Let your hair air dry occasionally. Try using plastic cylinder rollers to straighten hair by wrapping slightly moist hair under and around rollers for about 10 minutes. For curling, try using sponge rollers overnight or sleeping with moist braids.

Don't swim without a cap. Use a rubber cap to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine. If you must forgo a cap, rub a spoonful of olive oil into your hair before diving in.

also heres a very good website which could help you out with all hair problems!

http://www.pioneerthinking.com/hair.html

Good luck!!:)

Another thing is also putting in lotion in your hair after you have gotten out of the shower and you can also put in lotion in hair after you have dried it.

Just rub some lotion on your finger tips and run it through your hair evenly.

Also, something that will help your hair is to take COLDshowers. What most people dont know is that if you take hot showers, the heat gets rid of the oils and other things that your hair needs to be kept healty and shiney.

Hope this helps!

If this doesnt help just contact me and i can give you more tips for your dry hair!

Smash an avocado and mix with jojoba and peppermint oils. Make sure its really smooth you may want to put it in a food processor with a little water. Then apply some to your scalp and the rest on your hair. Massage for a minute or so then put on a plastic cap. Leave for 15 to 30 minutes. The avocado and jojoba oils will moisterize and the peppermint will stimulate your scalp to loosen any dead skin and open your pores. It will feel great. Your hair will grow better and won't be dry. :)

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

Make sure it's a thick kind like Helmann's and leave it in for about 15 minutes with a shower cap or plastic bag over your head (i know it will look funny but who cares). It's supposed to be a good detangler, moisturizer and great for shine! Good Luck!

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

Mayonnaise actually works pretty good, I used it once and thought it made a slight difference in my hair or at least it was softer :) To start take about a cup of Mayonnaise or more depending on your hair length, and start massaging it into your scalp. Wrap saran wrap around your hair and then take a pre-heated towel and wrap it then around the saran wrap. After about ten minutes either replace with another heated towel or remove and rinse out. shampoo and condition as normal. Good luck :)

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

yeah, it is really good for your hair.

I use it once and my hair was really soft and shiny =]

you can use any type of mayo, it can be expensive or cheap.

apply it to your hair with your hand (after shampoo and conditioning), like you would do with a leave in conditioner.

It's abit difficult to apply because its so thick, and it may feel damn nasty. (it did for me) spread it out evenly by running your fingers through you hair, and then comb it in.

leave it on for about 40 minutes and rinse it off thouroughly.

shampoo again lightly, as it may feel oily.

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

If you have light colored hair and it turns green from the chlorine in pool water put ketchup of vinager in it for a week or so when you shower. It will be gone soon. But I have never heard of Mayonaise in your hair.

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

My dad used the mayo treatment on his beard. We would just take a table spoon full from the jar and run it thru his beard with his hands and sometimes a comb. Left it on for 5 to 10 mins then rise. Used to make it softer when he was younger. Now its all grey and mayo is no help anymore since grey hair is so course. Hope this helped.

Mayonnaise hair treatment?

mayo is really good for hair makes it shiny and soft i use it and it works great..first you need real mayo best foods put it in a bowl stir it up abit rub it on your hair from scalp to ends covering all your hairs then put a plastic bag or shower cap on your head for about 30mins to an hour then wash it off in the shower with cool water shampoo and rinse twice then style as usual!:)

hope it helps you

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

I need one for bleached hair..a really good oe that will work on coarse thick hair...price does not matter...I want something that WILL work?? suggestions?

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

Joico K-Pak is the best conditioner. You can use it as a daily conditioner or leave it on for 5-10 mins. while wearing a shower cap for deep conditioning. Their shampoos are good too. (www.joico.com)

I also suggest using a tiny bit of jojoba oil on your scalp and as a styling product to tame frizzies. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic and is very similar to the oil our skin has. It also washes out easily. I recommend the brand Desert Essence. (www.desertessence.com)

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

Olive oil and REAL mayonaise. Warm it up a little in the microwave. Apply, and then wrap with a plastic bag or Saran wrap. Let it sit for about 20 minutes and then wash out.

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

Your hair is dried out from bleaching. I suggest mayonnaise or any olive oil hair care line.

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

redken all soft shampoo and conditioner is incredible at softening your hair. then use once a week keritasse hair mask. as a leave in conditioner, i recommend potion no 9. it is old school but still the best. make sure you also protect it with styling products. this has worked for my most desparate clients

A good hair treatment/mask/conditionar/moi...

Hot oil treatments are great, especially for hair that's color treated or heat styled. They're simple enough to do and you'll usually see results after just one use.

I used Infusium 23 leave-in spray when I had bleached hair....it doesn't have an overwhelming smell, it won't interfere with your hairstyle or other styling products you use, and it adds shine.

Everything you use on your hair should say "hydrating" or "moisturizing". John Frieda's "Sheer Blonde" products are nice, and are purple-tinted to avoid you going green. Your conditioners especially, should be thick and very creamy. I like Pantene personally but you may find a different one you prefer.

I love Garnier Fructis 3-minute Mask. It smells great, and it really makes a difference for me. Kiehl's and Philosophy carry excellent products, anything by either of them is usually great. Kiehl's creme with silk groom makes your hair very soft.

A tip that helped me keep my hair looking nice is sleeping with conditioner in. Once a week I'd wet my hair and add conditioner, then put it in a shower cap for the night. Another thing is to wash and condition hair FIRST when you get in the shower. Invest in a good wide-tooth comb (Sephora sells really nice ones, but you can get a plain one at any drugstore too) and use it to comb your shampoo/conditioner through your hair. This will ensure that your hair products are getting evenly distributed. The steam from your shower will help your conditioner "sink in" for a good ten minutes or however long it takes you to wash, shave, etc..

I did it 3 days ago...when can I wash my hair? and..

what outcome should i expect? Pre-treament, my hair was firzzy and it dried poofy and huge.It also looked damaged and dry from a previous Relaxer chemical that i did.

Thanks so muchhhh

Keratin Hair Treatment: Please read details! THANKS SO MUCH?

i just got the keratin hair treatment you should be fine if you wash your hair tomorrow it takes about 72 hours. i had frizzy hair and it was kinda straight but now it is straight

Keratin Hair Treatment: Please read details! THANKS SO MUCH?

You should wash your hair now. You probably should have washed your hair a couple days ago. The treatment only keeps working for up to an hour, if even that long. So this whole time you've been walking around with unwashed hair was all for nothing. If you really want you should put the treatment on, leave it on for 30 min., rinse it out, and put it on again. That's the only way to keep it working for up to 3 days.

L'Oreal Extenso Hair Treatment>??

I have curly hair that's actually quite longer when it's straight...Was planning to do the Extenso.. 2 friends did it and theyr really happy wid it..said it made their hair softer..can anyone please tell me more about it ??any personal experiences/?and yeah..how long does it last??my hair doesnt grow all that fast... so how long should it last??cuz my frnd who has similar hair to mine said it lasted her about 1.5 years.. any help would be appreciated!!thanx every1!

L'Oreal Extenso Hair Treatment%26gt;??

My hair is wavy-curly and I had Extenso done on it when it was very short (above-shoulder length). It became straight after the treatment. The results are supposed to last for as long as your hair isn't cut (i.e. your hair will not be straight as it grows out). My hairstylist said that Extenso straightens wavy hair and gets rid of the curl and frizz on curly hair. Sounds like your hair might get smoother, not necessarily straight. If you have a lot of frizz, this treatment should help with it.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I'm looking at getting my bikini area completely rid of hair. My boyfriend's offered to pay for me to have the hair lasered off - anyone know of the pros and cons of this procedure? Prices, side-effects, effectiveness etc?

xx

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Well I know someone that got laser surgery to remove hair and it takes more than one treatment and she said it hurt really bad. Also, whereever you get the laser surgery at is really sensitive to sun so I know it should stay kind of hidden from the sun but if you went to a tanning bed or something that would be bad.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I think it's a good idea.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I was thinking about doing this but there's something about the whole thing being so permanent I decided against it. Sorry, I don't know what the cost is. I thought that it would beat having to deal with hair stubs and the itch and redness they cause. However, I don't know that I'd let anyone pay for this procedure. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't let a boyfriend pay for it. I mean what if you marry someone else, he'll be the one that can say, I paid for that little job! Maybe I'm being silly about this but that's how I'd feel. Now if your husband was to pay for it then that's different.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

its a good idea but beware it butches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

you are soooo lucky to have your boyfriend's offered to pay for you, the price is different - some is AUD$300, some AUD$4oo, some aud$500, no effective

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

I like the way that you call it a "bikini zone"

If you mean getting rid of pubic hair, use your boyfreinds' shaver, with the hacking attachmet turned on.

Less vicious than some expensive laser treatment, and anyway, we all have hair in that area, so why worry about it ?

Just a thought,

Bob.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Being in the beauty profession and carrying out electrolysis I have found too many cases of hair growing back after 3 or 4 sessions of laser treatment. I have personally never had laser, but I am told by my clients the pain is horrendous, although everyone has a different pain threshold. At the end of the day it's your choice. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Laser hair removal is 閳ユ笡ermanent閳?hair removal method but is expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

Laser hair treatment on the bikini zone...?

Have a hollywood wax instead. After the first couple of sessions the pain is not too bad. You probably need t have it re-done every 4-6 weeks but it is not too bad. Make sure you have a couple of pain killers 2 hrs before the first session as it just takes the edgae off the discomfort

HOT OIL hair treatment?

can anyone please tell me what it does to your hair exactly? and who else has gotten it? what do you think of the results? is it ok to hot oil after a different hair treament like relaxing, rebinding, or regular hair straightening?

HOT OIL hair treatment?

Don't do anything directly after a chemical treatment. Hot oil just coats your hair until the next time you wash it. I used to use it, until I found better products and that it really doesn't do much for the long haul. It's better to go into a salon and ask what they use for deep heating treatments. If it is top of the line products such as Paul Mitchell, Matrix. Joico, Aveda and they put you under heat for 20 - 30 minutes, that's what you want. Do it monthly.

HOT OIL hair treatment?

well it adds oils 2 ur hair that hair treatments take out i would also try some proteins. u always hear eggs beer or mayo. these all can work see protein is gr8 4 the hair. also try rain water will really soften ur hair

HOT OIL hair treatment?

HOT OIL hair treatment?

Hot oil is a conditioner not a process so you can do it after any chemical process. It makes your hair softer and shinier. If you use the right oil you can prevent dandruff. I recommend olive oil mixed with shea butter or jojoba oil.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair

My hair is frizzy, and split end city...

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

First of all, how does your hair feel when it's wet? If it feels dry and hay-like, you need a deep moisturizer. If it feels, sticky or elastic-like, you need a reconstructor. For deep moisturizers, I like Redken AllSoft Heavy Cream. You need to shampoo your hair, towel dry it, then put the Heavy Cream on for 15 minutes. Then rinse it will cool water. For reconstructors, I like Joico K-Pak reconstrucor. Shampoo your hair, apply the reconstructor and leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. You want to make sure not to leave any reconstructor in your hair longer than the directions say because protein can build up on your hair and cause it to be brittle and dry. So...shampoo your hair and see how it feels when it's wet. One of these conditioners will do wonders on your hair.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

regular deep STRONG and by strong i mean strong conditioning..at least once a day!!!!! good luck with getting your hair undamaged..lol

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

-Use a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner like herbal essences hello hydration or pantene

-Do hot oil treatment using olive oil once a week. This nourishes your hair.

-Do deep conditioning 3 times a week using a good hair mask like Neutrogena triple moisture, elvive from loreal or pantene deep fortifying treatment. These nourish your hair and make it healthy and shiny.

-Use sunsilk straighten up leave-in conditioner to protect your hair when u go out in the sun

-Trim your hair once every 8-10 weeks to remove split ends.

-Massage your scalp daily using a wide toothed comb. This improves circulation into your head and stimulates growth.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

Try getting your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks and use more than one shampoo/conditioner set. I have 3 or 4 shampoo/conditioner sets in my shower and rotate them everyday for softer, healthier, and shinier hair... Also try not to take scalding hot showers, air dry as much as possible, use less styling agents, and rinsing hair with cool to cold water before getting out of the shower will help improve the shine.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

You could rub mayo in your hair and let in in there for about l5 minutes or more, you get extra heat from putting a plastic bag over it. It gives it alot of moisture. Sounds crazy, but it does work. Good luck.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

Try "Kerphix" by "Nexxus".

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over thirty years.

Hope this helps.

I always do highlights on my hair and it looks a little damaged what is a good treatment for my hair?

I have the same problem, what I do is use moisterizing shampoo%26amp;%26amp;conditioner from bath %26amp; body works, then a leave-in conditioner by Paul Mitchell, and since my hair is curly I also use a curl enhancer serum to help control it.

Do you think these organic root stimulator products work as a hair growth treatment for Afican Ameri

Today (8/1/07) I bought three organic root stimulator products: Uplifting Shampoo, Hair Mayonnase, and Carrot Oil. I tried it today, and it feels like its working so far. But, I was wondering if these products honestly work as a hair growth treatment for African American women, or did I just spent my money for nothing. Thank you.

Do you think these organic root stimulator products work as a hair growth treatment for Afican American women?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Do you think these organic root stimulator products work as a hair growth treatment for Afican American women?

This is a bad advice.Because your hair is like your skin. You DO NOT use clarifying shampoo, that is designed for white women.Because you are African American, you need to add moisture not to remove oil from your hair, due to naturally dry hair that does not produce its own oil. Report It

Do you think these organic root stimulator products work as a hair growth treatment for Afican American women?

That is why all Black women need to moisturize their hair. If you perm, blow dry your hair, use weave or braid, you are stressing and damaging your hair. By using intensive shampoos and/or conditioning, you are restoring and replenishing your hair. Report It

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

I have semi-nice hair, its not all that dry, but i do know it is pourous and i have a lot of flyaways. I do use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde Moisturizing Shampoo and conditioner. I have been to a couple of stylists asking if i should get a deep conditioning. Their response is that it wouldnt hurt to get one, or you could benefit from one. I dont know if this is because they want the money or do i really need to. What do others think? Any cosmetologist have a unbiast (since they most likely wont be doing my hair) opinion on this?

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

Hairstylist here! Sounds like the stylists don't really think you need one. We'd tell you straight up without you asking if you needed one. Most people with longer hair could use a deep conditioning treatment once in awhile just because the longer you hair is the "older" and more fragile your ends are. Double that if you color, perm, blowdry, or use curling irons or flat irons.

I agree with the others that you could definately do this on your own by either having a stylist recommend an at home treatment salon product or by using cholesterol or the conditioning treatments you can get at wally world. Don't do it more than once a week-it'll make your hair flat and maybe even greasy.

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

If your hair is dry at all, you could definitely benefit from a deep conditioning treatment. You do not have to go to a stylist to get this done. It's very simple to do on your own, and you can buy the products most anywhere. Look for "hair cholesterol." Let it sit in your damp hair for 10-15 minutes, then rinse out. I do this every week, and my hair is always soft and healthy!

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

What they say is true... it wouldn't hurt to get one. If you don't get one, that doesn't mean you will die for having ugly hair. So what they're telling you is that it's not a necessity as of the moment. I'm sure they will tell you if you really need one. They're leaving it up to you to decide whether or not you're comfortable with the way your hair is now. And they're saying that although it's okay now, it could be better.

If you have extra money to spend and want to maintain healthy hair, then I suggest that you get one. There's really no harm in having prettier hair than you have right now.

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

they just want ur money! b cuz u can do a hair treatment urself for a whole lot less! just go look in the hair product section for "deep conditioning hair repairs/treatments"

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

they just want your money.you can do the same thing that they can do at a cheaper price.

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

Do you see results continue them if your hair does not show a difference then discontinue.

Hair treatment: Do i need it or Do they Just want my Money?

i think you should just use a tre seme shampoo and conditioner, i think the shampoo strengthens hair (and NO! i m NOT ADVERTISING!)

the stuff that has the kangaroo on the commercial, I cant remember what it is called.. it is in a purple bottle with a pump on the top, get the moisturizing kind. It is great for dry hair and split ends.

What hair treatment or products can I use to smoothen the texture of dry coarse hair which has split ends?

i love using Avon's dry end serum. i squirt about 5-6 drops in my hand, rub my hands together and start with the ends and then smooth my hands over the rest of my hair, it makes split ends less noticeable and makes my hair very shiny and soft.

What hair treatment or products can I use to smoothen the texture of dry coarse hair which has split ends?

Some tips:

Deep condition once a week with a heavy conditioner (add some olive oil and an egg if you can).

Wash your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo, then add extra oil (jojoba, olive, castor, almond - but NOT baby oil) to the ends of your hair. Dry split ends need to be moisturized with a waterbased product (like a moisturizing conditioner) then sealed with oil to keep the moisture in.

If you must use shampoo, do it less often and choose a moisturizing shampoo (not a harsh one, and not a "clarifying" one).

Don't mishandle your hair when combing to avoid more split ends. Be gentle. Use a detangling comb (it's teeth are curved) and start at the bottom then work your way up to the top. Never yank or pull the tangles from your hair. Soak your hair in conditioner and water before combing to make the comb glide more.

Trim your ends. Split ends tangle themselves and create more of a messy hassle.

Use a creamy leave-in conditioner after washing your hair.

What hair treatment am I looking for?

I have very long, strawberry blond hair (naturally dirty blond). I dyed it champagne blond and my hair turned red. At the ends it looks ashy. (my hair is 4" past my shoulders) I need to know what I should have done... Another dye? Hilights and lowlights? I am looking to achieve something close to my natural color. My hair is making me extremely self-conscious so any help would be appreciated. :)

Too much hair treatment?? Help please!?

My hair is black and very curly. I hate curly hair so I get it straightened chemically every month. I know this is bad but it's the only way to not see that messy, curly, puffy hair.

Now I was thinking. I want to try and dye my hair blonde. Because I always loved blonde hair. And I want to see how it looks. I'm not sure of the quality of my hair. It grows really fast and it falls really fast... so... please help! can i go and dye them blonde?? reply a.s.a.p. i need the answer! Thank you

Too much hair treatment?? Help please!?

As far as I know you cannot use bleach or lightening products on chemically processed hair. It will cause the hair to weaken and break off.

My brother bleached his hair, and then wanted to chemically straighten it. But then he couldn't because it would be too much chemicals and would break off his hair.

閳?br>Too much hair treatment?? Help please!?

black hair doesnt die blonde very easily for one and it might be a waste of your time and money if your hair grows fast... ud have to die it again like every week to keep it blonde and thats not good for it at all but neither is the chemical straightener.

Too much hair treatment?? Help please!?

is your hair thick? if you are one of the lucky and have lots of hair (even if it falls out) then i don't see any problem in bleaching your hair blonde, you can always ask the stylist that chemically straightens your hair if they recommend it. remember to deep condition before and after to assure the health of your hair...good luck!

Too much hair treatment?? Help please!?

Why don't you get a hairdresser to give you some tips on getting your curls more to your liking - if they're looked after well they shouldnt be messy and puffy.

If you have black hair, the chances are blond might not look so great with the tone of your skin and eyes,

All the chemicals are going to cause a lot of damage in the long run. I wouldnt risk bleach and chemical straightening.

Im about to put a hot oil treatment on my hair. i have african american hair. should i put conditioner on it?

No, the hot-oil should do it. Try putting some vitamins E instead

Im about to put a hot oil treatment on my hair. i have african american hair. should i put conditioner on it?

Hot Oil treatments will condition your hair..you don't need another conditioner. Conditioning your hair is great but it will not speed up hair growth, just keeps your hair in better condition and stops breakage and split ends. There are no products that will speed up hair growth. If your hair grows 1/4 of an inch per month, that's all you're going to get.

Im about to put a hot oil treatment on my hair. i have african american hair. should i put conditioner on it?

First you wash your hair, then you should use the conditioner, then the hot oil treatment. The hot oil treatment is conditioning in itself so you don't need more conditioner in it after that. Also if your trying to make your hair grow you should be doing hot oil treatments every month. You should also use carrot oil or tea tree oil because it stimulates circulation to the scalp and that heklps it grow. Make sure youre not doing anything that makes it fall out or shed faster, like using excessice heat on it. Dr miracles is a really good brand of hair products to use if your trying to make your hair grow, they have a hair pomade that promotes hair growth by increasing the circulation to your scalp and strengthening hair. You can get all this stuff at your local beauty supply.

Hi,let me know the permanent hair removal treatment ant it's effect?

Hi,

i am having lot hair on my body, face. My friends suggusted me that laser treatment is the best one.but some beautitients are telling that it damages ur skin.then what to do?

Hi,let me know the permanent hair removal treatment ant it's effect?

The laser treatment subtly turns your skin into scar tissue so that the hair does not grow. It is so subtle that it doesn't appear as your run of the mill scar, and it is very effective. Go to a consultation where they do laser hair removal and they can talk to you about it completely and tell you the pros and cons.

What is the best protein treatment for your hair that you have used?

I have tried the 5n1 by avlon and the duo tex because my hair sheds alot during the winter.

What is the best protein treatment for your hair that you have used?

biolage but u have to have a licence to by it

What is the best protein treatment for your hair that you have used?

The best way to reduce shedding is to add more protein to your diet. I knew a woman who quit eating meat and lost huge clumps of hair in the shower. Make sure you're eating either meat or beans and add warm olive oil as conditioner. (You have to wash the oil out.) It will leave your hair so glossy!

What is the best protein treatment for your hair that you have used?

Natural homemade Protein treatment:

Beat 1 egg and add slowly 1 tsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of vinegar. Apply it on hair and keep for 10 to 15 minutes. Apply shampoo and rinse well. This is good for all type of hair.

For oily hair Use any thin type of oil instead of olive oil and add lemon juice instead of vinegar.

If you feel sticky also it is worth to do protien treatement. Use mild shampoo twice and condition it next day.

What is the name of this hair-highlighting treatment?

My friend got her hair highlighted and it looks very natural. Can you take a guess at what that treatment, chemical, or technique is called?

What is the name of this hair-highlighting treatment?

If it looks really natural, it's probably a weave. It's when the hair dresser takes chunks of hair and weaves a comb through it, then puts the colour on. This spreads the colour more and makes it look natural.

What is the name of this hair-highlighting treatment?

That could be one of so many chemicals(colors) if it looks natural you would have to describe the all over color of the hair that is with the new highlights...to have the natural highlight look, i would use a color that is one to two shades lighter, slice very thin through the Mohawk, if you want to blend the two colors, if you just want a very subtle difference, weave through the Mohawk leaving about a 1/4 of in. between each weave. i use a product called blazing made by Scruples, its a high lift color...much better for your hair than bleach, and you get a perfect color every time.

What is the name of this hair-highlighting treatment?

Ask her and if she doesnt know then ask the hairstylist what tech. she uses because everyone is different.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

My hair is very thin and damaged. I have lots of split ends and my hair breaks everytime I brush. I've tried many store bought treatments, but nothing seems to help. I've been to the salons and got treatment there... but once again... it doesn't help. Does anyone know a good 'potion' that I can make at home to help treat this problem?

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

Pure virgin unrefined coconut oil. I use nutiva brand. I do oil treatments as well as applying while my hair is damp after shampooing. Works great for me.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

what really helps my hair is leaving on conditioner for like 15 minutes and then finally rinsing it off. it really revives my hair.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

Water and 2 comb use handes!

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

A good trim first then eats lots of Omega 3....

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

To treat your split ends use conditioner every night/morning and cut your air often. And to prevent weak hair dont blow dry because it ruins your hair

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

This sounds simple but it works. Buy a jar of organic coconut oil. Before each shampoo, massage a small amount into your scalp, down to your ends. Cover with a shower cap or cellophane. Leave it on for 30 minutes (...which gives you time to read a good gossip magazine *-*), then shampoo and condition. This works for me. After a while, you can do this once a month or so, as needed. Here's to beautiful hair!!

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

what Tyra Banks does is she gets the conditioner that says the most problems like damaged......... or if you have split ends you can put petroleum jelly on the ends, you can also not wash your hair for maybe 4 days so your hair will have alot of greese.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

egg whites work great on hair. use about once a week. Makes it shine and makes it stronger. About every 4 weeks get a trim, about 1/4 to 1/2. that will control the dead ends. use a hot oil treatment once a month. try not to blow dry your hair, if you do use low heat. good luck

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

I was actually told to use olive oil on my hair one time...had gotten a perm and it dried my hair our really bad and my hair just looked terrible...it was litterally fried...anyway...was told to put some olive oil in my hair...put a showercap on for about 15 minutes (just helps to keep the oil "trapped" on your hair) and then take the showercap off and wash your hair really good...if you blowdry your hair, don't dry it completely...use the dryer...but leave it so that it is ALMOST dry...good luck...

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

For brittle damaged hair, do not use a hairbrush. Always use a comb.

Condition, condition, condition.

Put a hair product, leave on conditioner plus spritz/mousse for daily use.

Eat a good diet as healthy hair starts from within. No matter what you put externally, the hair still grows from within your body and reflects your general health.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

When you brush your hair, you should be stroking at the bottom of the hair and moving up and the bottom untangles, this way you wont be pulling out so Mitch hair with your brush. As for the split ends, you should be getting your hair trimmed at least once every three months to keep the split ends off. As for the hair breaking, have you been getting the right vitamins? Hair breakage is often caused because of not getting the right nutrients.Visit this site to make sure you have been eating right. http://mypyramid.gov/

If you are eating right, it could be that you are damaging it with a straiten er or curler. If you curl your hair or straiten it often you should get spacial gel or spray that you put on your hair before you begin.

Meanwhile, there are ways to make your hair look less damaged. Avoid washing your hair every day (unless your scalp is oily); when you do wash it, use a conditioner that contains proteins inhomogeneity's. (If your scalp is oily, keep conditioners away from the roots.) When you dry your hair, gently squeeze out moisture with a towel -- never rub. A drop (just a little!) silicone's also can help smooth down the cuticle and add a bit of shine.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

This is something my generation{40 yr.olds} did alot. We used mayonaise in our hair. You would lather it on{let it reach room temp 1st} then wrap your hair in a towel for 30 mins.Afterwords you would wash you hair thoroughly. It really does work.

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

All the answers are fine. I'm around 40 and I just donate my hair because is tick and I have a lot, and I use a lot of grandma's homemade treatments. Somebody say mayo, fine. You just need to beat the egg + 2 oil spoons +1 vinegar spoons (really helps) and some drops of lime (extra shinny).

If you use this or olive oil (better if is warm) or mineral or another kind of oil, remember to put first the shampoo and then wash your hair with warm water (otherwise you will never get rid of the oil, and this is experience!).

Do not use avocado paste (ripest = better) if you do not have black hair.

whatever you use, cover it with plastic (hair needs heat!) and wait al least 15 minutes.

Split ends? cut them. Take it easy with the blower and iron and after year of fighting my curly hair, I just learned to love it and I discovered (I never took advices!) that I born like this and that's the hair that suits me better (personality and physical!).

Finally, just be constant and if you use homemade recipes do not worry , you can use them weekly!

What kind of homemade treatment can I use to treat my damaged hair?

Not a homemade tip, but I never rinse the conditioner competely from my hair. I wash and then apply conditioner inch away from the scalp. Put up in a clip and continue showering an shaving. Before i get out rinse out from from top (make sure to get the conditioner on the sides and bottom of scalp then wring the water and conditioner. I never towel dry. I use the blow dryer only in the winter to dry the hair by the scalp My hair now looks great (shiny and still light) even with out serum

I wana go 4 laser hair removal treatment in malaysia but im not sure where to go.could any1 help me

i have researched best hair-removal methods and i think the best is laser. im an international student in malaysia so i'm not so familiar with places for good laser treatment.

could anyone help me

i'd prefer if its in KL or somewhere near KL.

I wana go 4 laser hair removal treatment in malaysia but im not sure where to go.could any1 help me with that?

Lasers generally work best on people with dark hair and light skin as the laser beam needs to be able to differentiate between the hair and skin to avoid damaging the skin.

There are also home laser hair removal kits available that you can use to determine how well laser treatments will work for you. They are cheap and use the same technology as the salon lasers, but can only treat one hair at a time. Salon laser machines can treat a patch of hair about 1cm squared at a time.

I wana go 4 laser hair removal treatment in malaysia but im not sure where to go.could any1 help me with that?

Oh, darlin', darlin, darlin...you go so much...

Honey, take my advice. You are a bueautiful, vibrant, intelligent, young lady. You take great care in how you look and you spend as much time as necessary to make yourself presentable each day. Wherever the hair you want to get rid of is, it's only unsightly to you. Others barely notice it, if it all. A lot of guys actually like a little hair on a woman where others may not have any.

You're young. Give yourself a chance. Rather than go to the trouble, expense, time and possible aggravation, wait a few years. The right guy may come along and fall head over heels with you. If you go through with it now, you may actually do Mr. Right a disservice.

Love yourself, feel confident, and others will love you, too. It's contagious!

Good luck, sweetie.

Is propecia really #1 hair loss treatment pill?

Propecia is the only FDA approved pill for hair loss treatment, but there are a lot of side effects associated with it. Any one who have used propecia, please give your comments on its effectiveness and side effects.

Is propecia really #1 hair loss treatment pill?

I am 25 years old and have been taking propecia for about a year now. I haven't had any side affects. Which is good for me. It doesn't mean that you will have the same results. There are a lot of side effects that COULD happen if you take the pill, but they might not happen. I say if the hair growth out weighs the side effects then go for it!

If you are afraid of that you could try rogain. There is even a new laser hair comb that has just recently been approved by the FDA. ( I am going to wait and see how it really works. Within a year i might try it)

Is propecia really #1 hair loss treatment pill?

I have been buying a generic version finasteride from http://www.4-rx.net for 3 yrs. Great product no side effects. Now they are saying that dutasteride aka Avadart may be 30% more effective for hair loss. The jury is still out on that one. Report It

What is the best hair loss treatment out there?

I am 43 year old male and have thinning hair on top. What is the best treatment I can buy?

What is the best hair loss treatment out there?

It is easier to prevent the aging and falling out of healthy hairs than to regrow hair in follicles that are already dormant. Finasteride (marketed in the U.S. as Propecia) and minoxidil (marketed in the U.S. as Rogaine, and some places as Regaine) have shown some success in partially reversing loss. In a one one-year study of finesteride, evaluation after one year showed five of 21 subjects (23.8%) had two-grade improvement in MNHS grade on a modified Norwood/Hamilton scale and 12 of 21 subjects (57.1%) had one-grade improvement; the others remained at the same grade.[6] However such treatments are generally ineffective at treating extreme cases of hair loss. [7]

The prospective treatment of hair multiplication/hair cloning, which extracts self-replenishing follicle stem cells, multiplies them many times over in the lab, and microinjects them into the scalp, has been shown to work in mice, and is currently under development, expected by some scientists to be available to the public in 2009-2015. Subsequent versions of the treatment are expected by some scientists to be able to cause these follicle stem cells to simply signal the surrounding hair follicles to rejuvenate.*

Topical application of ketoconazole, which is both an anti-fungal and a potent 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, is often used as a supplement to other approaches.

Interestingly, placebo treatments in studies often have reasonable success rates, though not as high as the products being tested, and even similar side-effects as the products. For example, in Finasteride (propecia) studies, the percent of patients with any drug-related sexual adverse experience was 3.8% compared with 2.0% in the placebo group.[8]

Regular aerobic exercise can help keep androgen levels naturally lower while maintaining overall health and lowering stress, though weight training may have a detrimental effect on hair by increasing testosterone levels.

Stress reduction can be helpful in slowing hair loss.

Immunosuppresants applied to the scalp have been shown to temporarily reverse hair loss, though the possibly lethal side effects of this treatment make it untenable.

Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) is an herbal DHT inhibitor often claimed to be cheaper and have fewer side effects than finesteride and dutasteride. Unlike other 5alpha-reductase inhibitors, Serenoa repens induces its effects without interfering with the cellular capacity to secrete PSA. [9] Saw palmetto extract has been demonstrated to inhibit both isoforms of 5-alpha-reductase unlike finesteride which only inhibits the (predominant) type 2 isoenzyme of 5-alpha-reductase. [10] [11] [12]

Polygonum Multiflorum is a traditional Chinese cure for hair loss. Whether the plant itself is useful, the general safety and quality control of herbs imported from China can be questionable.

Beta Sitosterol, which is a constituent in many seed oils, can help to treat BHP by lowering cholesterol. If used for this purpose, an extract is best. Consuming large amounts of oil to get at small quantities of beta sitosterol is likely to exacerbate male pattern baldness.

Resveratrol, from grape skins, is a lipase inhibitor. By decreasing the body's ability to absorb fat through the intestine walls, it reduces the total fat and calorie content of a person's diet.

While drastic, broad spectrum anti-androgens such as flutamide are sometimes used topically. Flutamide is potent enough to have a feminizing effect in men, including growth of the breasts.

In March 2006, Curis announced that it had received the first preclinical milestone, a $1,000,000 cash payment, in its hair growth program with Procter %26amp; Gamble Pharmaceuticals, a division of The Procter %26amp; Gamble Company. The program is focused on the potential development of a topical Hedgehog agonist for hair growth disorders, such as male pattern baldness and female hair loss.

There is some useful advice here.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

i want permanent hair removal treatment in this world.....and should be inexvensive? kindly give me sincre answers.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

It isn't inexpensive, but, if you are serious about it, you can get your hair follicles zapped with a lazer. You would effectively be permanently damaging the mechanism that grows hair, but that is the most effective. Their are places that do all over the place. This being said it isn't cheap (I'm thinking thousands here). But, if you consider how much you spend over the course of your life in waxing, shaving, and other treatments, it works out to be a real bargain. Good luck.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

There is a permanent hair removing treatment. It is done with lasers and is expensive and it isn't a 100% guarantee

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

My sister is doing laser treatment. It consists of 12 treatment, but it started working by the first and second treatment. You must continue with the 12 treatment for it to be permanent.

I think it's different in price range depending on the state your in. Usually range around 3 to 4 hundred. This is information I got from my sister so if I'm not accurate, please forgive me.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

Go see a dermatologist.Electrolysis can get rid of hair permanently but I don't know how expensive it is.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

There are quite a few places that do hair removal which is safe and permanant - dont think its very expensive - depending on what treatment you get.

Theres electrolysis - which i think is about 鎷?5 or $55 but laser is most effective. This is anything around 鎷?0 for a trial version - but not sure how long you have to have it for. Try 'www.theprivateclinic.co.uk' for info.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

Go to the dermatologist for laser treatments. That is the only way you can remove it permanently. It will cost money and not all insurance will pay for it. And make sure he know what he is doing because it could cause burning and scarring if not done by a professional. Otherwise it is good old shaving, plucking, waxing or Nair and yes the hair grows back. I hate to say. Good luck.
