I know that mixing some baking soda with your shampoo can clarify your hair, I just can't remeber how much. So I was wondering if anyone has every done it and how much they put in their shampoo?

I do it alot! You can use only baking soda if you want, too. Dump like a tablespoon of baking soda in your palm. Then, add water to make it pastey. Then, rub it in to your hair WHILE IT'S DRY. Then, rub it in and lather well. Rinse with cool/lukewarm water.
It's ALOT more effective when you put it in your hair while it's still dry ;)
