Do you know of a long term hair treatment which will create more perfect curls?

Without damaging the hair too much? I heard of cold restructuring, or something like that, which is supposed to smooth curls. It is supposed to be similar to the japanese hair straightening. However, I've heard that the japanese hair straightening can be reallllly bad for your hair. I have spiral curls, which I love, but are too unruly for the workplace. I'm looking for something which will defriz them and smooth them out, and doesn't require tons of time in the bathroom every morning. Have any ideas?

in fact, there is one. its called jerry curls. it done almost the same as perming and you can find it in you local hair store where you find do it yourself perms. you do it once a month and every morning you just tough it up with the directed insta- curling spray and voila! instant beautiful curls!!!

I also have spiral curls, the best conditioner is A) Queen Helene's "Cholesterol", it comes in a tube or a plastic jar. It is a yellowish color and full of protein or B) "hair mayonnaise" by Africa's best organics. Full of natural stuff. I am of mixed race and have had plenty of experience with curly hair. You can get it at a rite-aid/ or Duane Reade type of drug store. Target, wal-mart also. It is mostly in the ethnic aisles or hair care section. It is great!!!
