Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I was wondering if regular cooking virgin olive oil does the same thing as the special v05 hair oil treatments. I would be heating it up then applyingit on my hair. Would it do the same thing?

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

no the oil in v05 have a special chemical added to it something and it makes it heated after a while causing your hair roots and molecules to open up and absorb the oil, hence making it smooth and beautiful.

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I would be scared to do that. never heard of it before.

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

NO!.. you'll never get it out, don't do it!

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

I don't know about olive oil, but my mother used to do a home treatment of after washing her hair, rinse with vinagar to clarify and remove all build up, then a shine/conditoning treatment of Mayonaise for about an hour, it really does make your hair shiny, but beware, your hair will smell funky for a couple of days!

Hot oil treatment for hair..?

yes, I think it would, but try this first, use Alberto VO5 hairdressing, the Oil Based version and Slick your hair back with it at night before you go to bed, when you wake up in the morning, just shampoo it out, it will have a better effect

It isn't the same as V05 because that has other chemicals %26amp; protiens added but you can use it to treat your hair with excellent results. If you don't have olive oil, use oils that are light so they won't weigh your hair down %26amp; will rinse cleaner (like canola or safflower). I make a really good hair oil treatment with jojoba, olive, sweet almond, flax seed oil %26amp; essential oils.

Rinse your hair in the shower then towel dry so it's still damp. Massage in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Put your hair into a shower cap %26amp; let the warm water hit it for a minute or so (the warmer, the better - the heat helps the oil penetrate the hair shaft.) Go on with your regular shower routine. After about 10 minutes or so, remove the shower cap %26amp; shampoo %26amp; condition your hair as normal. (You may have to shampoo twice to remove all the excess oil.) Your hair will be soft %26amp; shiny.
