How soon after a cholesterol hair treatment can I dye my hair?

I've been bleaching my hair since last summer (about four times now) and now it won't hold dye. Someone told me to try using a cholesterol hair treatment, which I have started using. How soon is it safe to dye my hair?

hmmm, the hair treatment is nothing more than a conditioner. There could be different reasons why hair won't hold a dye, it could be medication related. Is your hair in good shape? can it handle the dye without breaking, frizzing, burning? Are you on meds? Are you having it done by a pro? or are you doing it yourself? consider changing brands... hope this helps...

However long until you can't stand it anymore.

your hair prob wont hold the dye cause its so dyed out, that you have lost the color porton of the hair. you will have to wait a few months before trying again.

you need to use a deep conditioner on a daily basis as well.

FYI...you can't lose the color portion of your hair. Medication could cause this....or maybe you are using the wrong brand, color or base color. If you are serious about it...go to a professional.
