Is this a good way to flat iron hair for a shiny look/ Weekly Treatment?

Don't know if this matters but I have African American Hair.

1.Wash hair with Shampoo rinse (repeat if necessary)

2.Add Conditioner and leave in for 10 閳?15 minutes and rinse

3.Towel Dry To get Excess Water

4.Apply Straightening Serum/ Heat Protector to damp hair

5.Blow Dry Hair

6.Add Moisturizing Lotion to dry hair

7. Part hair into four to five sections

8.Use a FlatIron and Take a one or two-inch section of hair and clamp the iron down as close to the scalp as possible. Slowly pull iron down the length of hair.

9.Add a bit of serum and ready to go

Weekly Hair Treatments

1.Oil the scalp once a week with - wild growth

2.Use a Hair Dress 2-3 times a week

3.Flat Iron once a week

Also lately since last summer my hair has been kinda falling and it's a bit shorter than before. Like when i comb it strands of hair fall out and just putting my hand through my hair a strand comes with it....any advice

An easier way would be to use Heat Protection spray made by Ion which can be found at any Sally Beauty Supply store.

the straightening and weekly treatments sounds good! I would try Herbal Essences for your other problems!

if your looking after your hair that well why do you need a hairdresser 2-3times a week and also we lose about hundred strands of hair daily....

Way to much heat and not enough conditioning.

With relaxed hair you should shampoo and deep condition with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner once a week. Alternate weekly between a protein and a moisturizing conditioner(until your hair gets healthy again), protein treatments help repair, strenghten, and fix damaged hair. Moisturizing conditioners add the needed moisture to black hair. Air dry your hair as often as possible to lock in moisture and prevent breakage, then apply a light scalp oil to your scalp and a moisturizer to your strands. On the days your not washing either spray with a light leave in conditioner every other day or apply a light moisturizer every day. Try not to comb so often also, that aids in the snapping of hair.

you should also wear your hair in protective styles, any style that needs little to no combing or brushing and keeps the ends of your hair off of your clothes.

You don't have to clip your ends every month if its healthy, that will just make your shorter, hair only grows about 1/2 an inch per month, and if you cut it every month then it results in negative hair growth. Your hair will be shoulder length forever. If you keep up with your hair and get it healthy you only have to cut it once every 3 months, sometimes i only cut twice a year, and my hair is just fine. Stay away from heat accessories as well; blow-dryers, flat-irons, and curlers really suck up the moisture in black hair which is natural already dry. Try not to do to many back to back protein treatments because that can actually break the hair off. Once your hair is healthy again you can cut down on the protein treatments to about once a month and just focus on doing more moisturizing deep conditioners.

try not using any kind of serums at any time if possible.it just makes yur hair oily.and also wen yu wash yur hair, dont use alot of shampoo or conditioner, just about the size of a small carrot for shampoo and rele spread it around as much as u can. ummmm...try to let yur hair dry naturally as much as u can unless u have a time limit or waash yhur hair the night be4 so it will be dry the next day.and it also doesnt matter how many parts u make in it just grab a hand full of hair and have a hair clip with u that u can use to tie up the strands that u have alredy flat ironed.
