I have to fight with this all the time, my hair seems really dry and I have tried lots of different shampoo's and conditioners, but I don't want something that will feel greasy, I just want my hair to not feel like hay.

My hair is very fine in texture so I can only use a tiny drop but even w/ thick coarse hair like my sisters, you only use a pea sized drop and not on the roots, so it doesn't make hair flat. It creates amazing shine and enough moisture to stop static and fly aways even in very dry winters. My sisters hair looked like hay but that stuff was like a miracle. Her hair actually swings now. They also have many intensive conditioners you only use once a week and your regular conditioner the rest of the days. I have skipped using my Aveda products from time to time due to the cost. They are all natural plant, herb products that also smell NATURALLY good, not perfume like. None of them build up on your hair like other products do either. Also, no testing on animals. NO, I don't work for them but I probaly should. So many products are over priced IMO and do nothing they promise.
