I have heard that the BioIonic straightening treatment is the most advanced and healthiest straightening treatment yet. I have never heard anything bad about it so I would definitly like to try it (in alternative to relaxing, which last time I tried it it didn't even work and it KILLED my hair). But I heard it was somewhat expensive. So, I was wondering if anyone from Canada could give me an estimate. My hair reaches to just below my shoulders and I am half African-American so my hair is quite curly and tough to deal with.

here in virginia it runs $300-400.

you need to find someone that does this service and tell them exactly what you have had on your hair before before getting into it and exactly when you did it.

a lot of people will come in and say that they don't have any of their previous relaxer on their hair anymore because their hair is curly again. then when they get another chemical put on it that is not compatible with the last one they had their hair breaks off where the 2 overlapped. this is very important! not all relaxers can be used over top of others.
