Am an African with dark skin complexion, some websites said laser hair removal treatment is not suitable for dark skin and only one said they can treat dark skin complexion so am confused and don't know what to do. It is suitable but there is a risk that it will change the pigmentation in your skin making it lighter where the laser has been, sometime this will rectify itself but not always.

You can reduce the risk of this by protecting the area from the sun IE cover up or wear high factor sun cream.
