Best treatment for dry color treated hair?

I have been dying my hair for about a year now. My hair used to be really dry all over. Now it's always dry from the middle to then end of the strands and gets oily quickly on the scalp. Could it be caused from coloring my hair? I also use a straightener about 5 times a week cause it's rather curly. I know I'm washing my hair really well and I only use light spray-on leaving in conditioner now. Is there any treatments or anything that will help my hair without ruining the color? Any tips or tricks or products?

You should use a hot oil treatment. Try V-05, it works good.

try a very good conditioner like treseme, when u wash your hair and try a very good leave in condition when you dry your hair, like redken leave in condition to repair breakage, and other things. you might want to deep condition your hair like once every two weeks. this will help, jump towards the deep conditioner.

you answered you own question within your question. You are straightening your hair several times a week. Hence the reason why the middle and ends are dry. Try not straightening and using a good conditioner for awhile and see if that helps. If this is not an option for you make sure you are using a good flat iron hair treatment. Also if you do flat iron it try only washing your hair every other day to keep from drying your hair out more. You could also go to a beauty warehouse and buy a real boar bristle brush and use that each night. This will help pull your natural oils from your scalp thru the rest of your hair. It also stimulates hair growth. Hope this helps.
