Malibu hair treatment???

i have well water at my house and someone i know told me that it would help my hair. I used to have bloned hair but now it is getting darker and even turning a little red. I am not sure if it just my hair aging and getting darker or the iron in my water. But i dont know much about the malibu hair treatment. how much would it cost? what exactly do they do to your hair?would it work? and is it safe for my hair/ would it damage it at all? thanks guys! :]

get a malibu treatment! it will not damage your hair, it doesnt strip the impurities out of your hair it works like a magnet, all the impurities (well water, chlorine, etc.) have a positive charge to them the malibu treatment attaches to the positive charge like a magnet then is easily rinsed out of your hair. i have used malibu treatments alot over the past 10 or 15 years and they are wonderful. your hair will feel like new hair and will look lighter and less orange. you can get malibu treatments in an inexpensive salon (try the "chain"salons) for $15 or $20. also really good is the EC Mode crystal gel treatment which is very similar to malibu. they both are professional treatments given in a salon only. good luck!

I used to get Malibu treatments when I had well water. I think it was only about 15 dollars at most salons. Basically they just put the product in your hair and then have you sit under a dryer for a little bit. It will remove the rust and build-up that has settled in your hair and it will look much lighter (until the rust starts building up again).

i had the same problem. Malibu shampoo will work but i know of a cheaper way to get that rust out! just get a packet of lemon kool Ade and mix it with a little shampoo. let it soak in your hair for about 15 minuets. if all the rust is not out yet do it again. to keep the rust out of your hair you might want to do this every few months
